I am the father of 4 children. 2 are step children 1 is adopted and one is my own. My step children live with me and my other 2 live with their mother about 5 miles away in the same town. I have been diagnosed with an arteries disease and have had a 6 way bypass 2 years ago. As of October last year I found out 5 of the 6 bypasses are closed and cannot be operated on. I take lots and lots morphine for pain and my doctors tell me I have not long to live but it is unknown how long.
My wife had surgeries on both of her arms and one shoulder due to a work related accident. She now stays home to take care of me.
My wife’s ex-husband has smoked crack with his 13 year old son and we are in the process of going to court over that.
My oldest son 16 went to school drunk and is now finishing out the year in an alternative school.
My 10 year old son and my 9 year old daughter don’t cause any problems yet.
My wife and I have been through almost everything with ex-spouses and children and feel we can give pretty good advice on just about any subject there is. And because we have been through almost everything we need all the advice we can get.
