This was only a few days after I buried Nigel. I wasn't
aware that my friend had taken the photo as she had given me
some time alone. I remember sitting there, not wanting to
leave. I can still feel to this day all the emotions -
they're just not as intense.
I've had exactly two people
minti-mail me and ask why on earth would I even want this
photo here...Well, the answer isn't anything too big a
deal....
I keep this photo as it is a reminder that even
at the lowest time of your life, you can and will find the
strength to carry on.
Even now, when I'm feeling down
and think that life is just too hard...I look at this photo
and I remember how bad I was feeling, how low, how sad and
how much I was grieving and I'm still here, I got through
that day, that time and that grief...
I keep it because
it reminds me of how I got to where I am today....
