I've been tagged - my response

1. What's your child's favourite book?  My kids are not typical I-like-to-read-the-same-thing-over-and-over kids.  They like "new" stories so we visit the library every week.  The twins are going into SK so enjoy "Level 1" books where they can "read" the patterns themselves.  eg.  Mrs.  Wishy-Washy.  My two year-old likes anything with Dora in it!

2. What's your favourite children's book?  Are You My Mother by P.D. Eastman (aka Dr. Seuss)

3. What's your child's favourite thing to eat?   Kaylee loves weiners with ketchup, ravioli, and Gramma's tuna or salmon sandwiches with her special home-made mayonaisse.  Emma & Sara like candy & gum (it's a foodgroup, isn't it?)!!  But also eat our family's version of "taco night" which is fill your own stuff in a rice paper wrap.

4. What's your favourite thing to eat?  Lately I'm into avocado & tomato mashed up and stuffed into a taco shell.

5. What's your child's favourite game?  Emma likes soccer or basketball.  Kaylee likes hide-n-seek, and Sara enjoys dress-up.

6. What's your favourite game?   Tennis!

Playdate success

Comment Published at 20:0420:043 comments3 comments170 Visits170 VisitsReport

It turns out that rkcrtbrown and I are from the same small Ontario town.  We both moved here last November and we both have three kids, including a set of twins each.  Weird, eh?

So we got together today!

playdate

My kids were running around with the digital camera so I actually have a photo of what my house looked like afterwards...

After the playdate

But no one lost an eye, no one got bitten, no one peed on the floor, and there wasn't even that much crying.  I even managed to mostly feed most of 'em.  So I'm calling it a success and I think we'll probably try it again sometime!
