Hi there,

I may be the only one in this site with this "family" context, but I'm a single "mom-to-be" because I'm in the process of adopting. I know this decision will change my entire life, but I'm looking forward to it, and changing as a person as a result too!  I'm sure my network of friends will change a lot too -- this site is one of those beginnings!  Other things I do:  graduate studies, adovacy for human rights issues, volunteering with refugees, research, and flamenco dance.  We'll see which of my life activities will be conducive to a tag-along and which I'll have to give up and change!  Hope to learn lots from all you moms and dads out there!! :)
