At last !!!!!!! my grandaughter Amy has been counting the days to her birthday since it was 76 days to go. Guess how old she is.
You are all guessing because of her enthusiasm that she is 5 or 6. No. Maybe 18 or 21 a very special birthday. All wrong again, She is 22 today and we get this every year LOL. When she was about 4 one of her aunties forgot Amy's birthday so when we saw her aunt she went up to her and said "It was my birthday November the 20th" So out came auntie's purse and gave her some money. Since then her aunty ( My sister ) has always called her name " November the 20th " so she never forgets Amy's birthday.Yesterday Helen told me there is a card in the post from her aunt, so all will be well LOL
Happy Birthday Amy from Nan and Grandad. I have seen Jakob and Emily singing to you from Iceland

I love our Sundays but yesterday was different
With dinner in the oven, table all laid as usual, so we would be all ready to eat at 1 o' clock.. Off we set in the car, we like to be there early, our morning service starts at 10-45am.A friend of ours took the service and was good too. We were home again by12-30pm.
Then the phone rang and I recognised who the caller was and asked about the foot operation he had this week. However it sounded to me his foot was unimportant, so I was wondering what was coming. Then came the shock. A friend of ours who was at another church, had collapsed and died there in the presence of the congregation, his wife and some of his family were also there, he was in his sixties and a great asset to our community and of course will be sorely missed.
I'm asking for prayer for his lovely wife and family at this time, I know he has gone to a better place but we will all miss him
Thanks
Love Pauline

Today is the 3rd birthday of my lovely grandaughter who lives in Iceland. I would love to be able to give her and her brother Jakob a big hug. I know our little princess will have a lovely birthday. It seems unbelievable that it is three years ago we were awaiting the phonecall of her arrival from my excited son, if I remember rightly we spoke to our lovely daughter in law too. 2yr old Jakob he too was jumping with joy
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY
Lots of love

Today it is my husband, My son, as well as my lovely daughter in law's birthday and i want to wish them all a very happy birthday. A triple celebration. `i so remember when `Simon for the first time introduced Sylvia to the family. In the course of conversation I gently asked her when was her birthday, they both laughed and answered "You don't want to know " Being a little persistent I would not drop the subject until they finally said "It's the 1st. of September"
Happy Birthday to the rhree of you. My daughter in law is rarely on minti but she is sillapilla on minti and lives in Iceland with Simon and my two grandchildren, By the way it Marc's birthday not Simon's
Lots of birthday wishes to you all and anyone who shares this date with them

On Monday morning my husband, son and grandson left at 5-45 am drove to Portsmouth to go across to Cherbourg on the Ferry, their reason for this trip was to go to see the Normandy landings. Thomas is doing this for his GCSE's so we all thought this would be helpful to him. They came back full of their trip and had a great time. After lunch Helen and Daniel came and we had a couple of hours shopping then had dinner together at my home.
Tuesday, I had a very quiet day as Helen had planned to take Daniel to London Zoo and so I didn't see them until 9pm when Helen returned to collect Thomas. They all came into the house almost together so the place was buzzing Daniel trying to tell all about the Zoo and the others piping in about their trip to France, I gathered they all had a lovely day.
Yesterday we had relatives here for the day and of course they wanted to see the boys so Helen and the boys came after lunch.Talk about rain ,it teemed really heavy the whole day so we were so glad the boys set up the Wii and entertained us all the afternoon with the games and we laughed as Helen beat them with the hula hoop twisting and turning like a spinning top, I bet she is suffering today !!!!!!! Another good game they love is the 10 pin bowling and the boys are good at it, but the laughter comes when we older ones attempt it especially me. My co ordination, sorry what co-ordination !!!!!!!!!!!Daniel has the patience of Job trying to teach ME lol. As a teenager I was a gymnast but age does take over in time.
Love to you all
