Sid my husband got out at 7-30am this morning to go for his training run ( he's training for the New York marathon) when he returned he showered and changedand we sat down to breakfast. we were having a second cup of tea when he said "have you forgotten something " and I couldn't think of anything Then he said " You haven't put the dinner in"Confused I replied"It's only 10am" He looked startled and said "well it is Sunday" to which I said "No, it's Saturday"Still mystified he answered "It isn't is it? Then he announced,That he had his suit on ready for Church.I always put the dinner in before we go. We have laughed about this all day,and the family have been teasing him all day too. He's not going to forget this in a hurry. We won't let him forget !!!!!!!!
Hehehehe that is so funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will deffinetly be teasing him about that when we come over - cant wait!!!!!!!! But bless him is 70 years old now so he has got an excuse, it´s a good job he has you though otherwise there might not be any hope for him ;)
Thanks Sylv as long as we remember to tell him every day what day it is That should help the confusion for him ...................or will it? In spite of your teasing he sends his love to his favourite daughter in law my love to you and the children too . Someone here keeps reminding us of how many days it is before you arrive in England. Not long now!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Janice we are still laughing and we now keep telling him what day it is!!!!!!!!! I know it's easily done we don't tell him that. Thomas and Daniel thought it was really funny. It will take a while for him to live it down I'm sure
He is semi retired and usually works Tuesday and Wednsday but this week he worked Wednesday and Thursdaybut he is always teasing the children so we don't tell him that he has a good excuse. He 's a wonderful husband though
i always get my days mixed up like someone has said we have a long weekend this wekend so it will mix me up with kenny and his work days . your poor hubby . at least he was ready for church maybe a day early but he was still ready
That's no excuse for him as we haven't got a long weekend. He's a lay preacher and was off to take a service. I should have let him go off that would have been funnier haha
Ha ha. Reminds me of the McDonalds add when she rushes them in to Maccas for brekky, school uniform and all. They don't tell her it is Saturday till after. I am sure people have done it then. Some people have had a sleep in the afternoon and then thought 6pm was actually 6am. Very funny. Hope he lives it down soon!!!!
That is so funny. And I can so relate to that. We have a long weekend this weekend, and with Monday off work and school, I know I will get confused...again!!
i got my days and dates mixed up this week because i was sick from work. sowhen i went back to work i didnt even know the date! and i was confusing days
im back to health now im so glad my energy has come back
It WAS funny as he couldn't believe it was Saturday even when I told him. If you read Helen's comment she suggested that this morning I tell him that it is Monday tomorrow. She won't let him live it down
Iam always telling my family that they make it go quicker than ever as they are all telling me how many days before our family come home from Iceland for two weeks mind you we are all excited about that
