Boys in my Garden enjoying Snow

Comment Published at 08:5808:5820 comments20 comments63 Visits63 VisitsReport

The boys arrived and built a snowman for Nan and Grandad and I have done some shovelling of the snow . The forecast gives more snow for our area so I have made some room for it,

Our snow in our back garden was untouched but Thomas and Daniel had a good hour of snowballing and enjoyed themselves before building the snowman as they had another day of off school as their school was shut, No complaints about this from them.

Helen went to her school and got on O.K. so she was fine as it was her first time since her eye problem

Just thought you would like to see their effort

Love Pauline

Re: Boys in my Garden enjoying Snow

We all would love a white christmas but it's not often snowing on that day. We do not get a lot of snow here but my son lives in Iceland with his wife and family and there you see plenty of snow

Thanks for commenting

Very smart in more ways than one, and of course they loved the snow and the snowman stayed for over a week

They are great boys ( my grandsons )

Hi Annie

The boys certainly know how to build a snowman and it was there for a week then they came and proved they were able to demolish it too. At least they had fun.

Hope you are ok

Re: Boys in my Garden enjoying Snow

No more snow but the boys called here after school and knocked the snow man down I did see there was more snow around your area

I am pleased to say Helen seems fine she was a bit uncomfortable after her treatment yesterday but is brighter today and she is driving. Thankyou for your concern

Love to you all

I would love to be able to play in snow like that!  I bet they had a great time, having another day off school and all.

Re: Boys in my Garden enjoying Snow

it was great fun and the boys really loved it  altogether they had only one half day at school last week and the snow is still lying around but it's turned hard and crunchy underfoot. We had to do some shovelling to get our car out the drive

Love to your lovely family

Wow what a  effort Boys great snowman, every time I see a photo of  Thomas and Daniel I swear they have grown another 1/2 inch.

Pauline I can imagine how your back yard looked all pristine with snow....the boys sure changed that.

Glad to hear that Helen went well back at school.

Love Janice xxxx

Re: Boys in my Garden enjoying Snow

We are always commenting on the boys how they have grown and it was  their idea to come and build a snowman for Nan and grandad. Our back garden was a picture as it had been untouched only thr patio had been cleared. It was so good to see them enjoying themselves snowballing and rolling in it before they started the snowman, and by the way thanks for your concern for Helen

Love to you and Steve

He is a nice snowman and I'm glad your little one likes him, it seems funny you have never seen snow.My son who lives in Iceland can't believe that the U.K. is in  such a turmoil at the first fall of snow, they just carry on.

Re: Boys in my Garden enjoying Snow

We had another downfall last night so it is another day off for Thomas and Daniel, I rang them at 7-30 and Helen said she had heard about it by text, so they are loving it. My snowman is still standing and looks very cold out there. Some parts of Devon had some more so sorry it missed your area
