Ahh...today's just one of those days!! Kostas is working really late tonight, he's out of town, in the bush somewhere.  It really sucks, but we need the money, it's been really slow at work for him these past few weeks.  I just get so sad for Talia because although it's been somewhat slow, he's still gone for a good part of the day and when he does get home early he's been working on the truck.  We have to get that back and running.  So she doesn't really see too much of him.  She's started this new thing with him, when he gets home she follows him EVERYWHERE he goes.  It's really cute.  If he goes to the washroom, she'll crawl right up behind him and sit at the otherside of the bathroom door and cry for him.  And yesterday he came home from work around noon, she got so excited to see him, then he got called out to another job so he had to leave, and he waved bye to her, and she knew he was leaving. It was cute but also it broke my heart.  She followed him to the door and cried when he left.  She is definitely becoming a daddy's girl!  So anyway he went to work this morning and he won't be home until tomorrow, so she won't get to have her daddy-time today.  Other then that all is well...I fed her pancakes today until she took over and started feeding herself.  And throwing pancake on the floor and laughing about it!  I'd tell her not to do it and she'd look slyly at me and grab more pancake and "innocently" drop it on the floor!  It was kind of hard to vacuum up mashed pancake on the carpet, but whatever, she ate and she had fun! 

Ok...my child is such a geek!  Last night, I put her down in her crib for bedtime.  She was sooo tired.  She automatically turned onto her tummy and tucked her knees under her.  It was so cute with her little bum up in the air.  Anyway, I covered her up with her blankie and I turned her aquarium on.  She got up onto her knees, pressed the button to shut the aquarium off, then went back to her original position.  I wish I had filmed it, it was so cute!  She knows what she wants....or doesn't!

OH MY GOD I AM SO BORED!  so bored that i'm writing a blog and i don't even know what to say.  Well this is day three of being home and not leaving the house...i am going insane.  Kostas has been working from about 6am to about 11pm these past few days...we haven't seen too much of him...in fact Talia hasn't really spent any time with her dad in the last three days.  They talk on the phone...to a certain extent, she's 9 months old.  He went out on a job at 5am this morning and when i phoned him at 11am he was still driving.  His job is out in the bush somewhere today so ya...he won't be home tonight...hopefully some time tomorrow, if he doesn't get called out on another job.  Our SUV is out of commission, so we've been using the pick-up truck, except it stopped working three days ago and Kostas hasn't been able to fix it...since he hasn't been home.  So ya...very boring!  It's too cold outside to take the little one out for a walk plus the side walks are so so icy.  I am going insane!  (if you haven't noticed...)
