I'm a wife, SAHM, full-time student, and proud mommy -blogger living in the midwestern US with my family, two dogs and a cat - and did I mention that we're in the middle of nowhere and loving it? We are, and we're even somewhat sane in the process. I've been with my hubby for almost 7 years now, our oldest daughter is five and she amazes me on a daily, if not hourly basis. She's kind and soft yet rugged and determined, the world is her canvas and she's making her mark. She's also a kindergartener this year, so we're naturally learning the elementary-parent ropes as we go - lessons learned so far, the homework is really for parents, PTA is venomous and life sucking, my daughter has inherited the damned "must be right" gene (sorry sweety!). Our youngest daughter, who will be 2 in December is... ummm, busy. Yep, busy. She's spunky, and trying, and mischevious, but she's also tender and so very accepting. Mommy has a long way to go to measure up to these two girls. |

This post is from from my other blog here *drumroll please*I am down 1.5 lbs since last week, for a total of 6.5 down since January 5th. Yay! I am wearing (yes, comfortably!) my belt one notch smaller than I ever have before (got the belt two years ago) and this makes me officially half a pound smaller than I can remember being in the past three (+) years! Feels good, very very good, let me tell you. Well, until next week - Happy MILF'ing! |

This post is from from my other blog here I. Hate. Winter.
The Knight insists I suffer from SAD, he's obviously mistaken though. I mean, it couldn't get any clearer that what I, indeed, suffer from is "God-dammit-man-why-do-you-force-me-to-live-so-far-from-the-f'ing-equator" disorder. To be known as GDMWDYFMTLSFFTFE-D from here on out. Obviously.
He's quick to remind me that we have passed the winter solstice and are furthermore on the down-hill swing of this winter stuff. I'm quick to shove snow down his pants and ask him how the down-hill swing feels now.
The other day I snapped at The Pea - more than once. I let The Princess watch too much TV. And I ...

This post is from from my other blog here Had you asked me before yesterday what good old Hills had in common with say... the likeness of William Hung, I'd have probably thought you were crazy. Turns out, not so much.
Well, on the bright side at least she kept the screwing to nothing more than a song. |

This post is from from my other blog here Last week as I went to put the empty box of Kashi Good Friends cereal in the recycling bin I noticed a recipe on the back.
Tom Cruise! Why do I always notice the recipes as I am tossing out the empty box?!
So on Friday when The Knight and I ditched the wee people for a night of romance adult conversation silence and grocery shopping I made a mental note added Good Friends to my list. (You don't actually think I can remember anything without writing it down do you? )
However after searching every. freakin. where. for a box of ...
