Yesterday we took advantage of the first day of Christmas break, technically Christmas break for me started on December 14 and for The Princess on December 21, unfortunately yesterday was the first day we could manage to steal away and actually enjoy, with no prior engagements getting in the way. In three words: we were lazy. In three more: We loved it. Of course, the reality of the inevitable backlash of such a day has now set in and today will be nothing like yesterday.
