well i went to a place where the lady has been a technicion for 15 years. I asked her lots of questions, and she said that it is safe that all it is, is soundwaves. They cannot give you false information, they can be sued out the "butt" ive also asked a couple doctors. There is no radiation which is what is used for x-rays. So after talking to somebody who has worked with ultrasounds for 15+ years and talking to doctors, and they all said its safe, I felt pretty confident that it was okay and safe for me to do so. Also if there are any risks, they have to tell you them before they start ultrasounds because if they dont and something happends, you can sue them for any harm done too.. And there is a lot to loose, and i dont think that my doctor would tell me otherwise. hes an excellent prenatal doctor, who has been delievering babies, and taking care of pregnant women, for over 20 years. He delievers about 50% of the babies in town, and tdoes even more of the prenatal care for women.
