I hear where you are coming from Sarah.  I often wonder how I would deal with it if the chance ever appears.  There has to be give and take on both sides, and when the times comes (another delicate decision) the children have to be accepting and ready to see the relationship move to that new level and accept another person into their family life.

Just take each day as it comes and always be open about everything, even if it seems trivial.  If the guy is worth it he will work with you in being open and supporting you through the decisions.  The bit I am slightly worried about when (if) it happens for us is actually allowing him to be involved in the 'family' decisions and trusting him.  If a guy knows you and likes you then he will often be prepared to give and take a fair bit - but I don't know how much control (for wont of a better word) I would try to hold onto.

Hi Sarah. So happy you went on a date!! Its not easy hon & there is nothing easy about fitting a new man in your life. I have been with Simon for 3 years & its still hard.
