Hi. My name is Rach, I am a working mum & I have 2 boys - 12 & 7. They keep me busy all of the time and in winter the weekends are spent running them around from soccer to hockey but I wouldnt change it for the world.
Some would say I am addicted to travel. I love to take the kids away to experience new things & different cultures. I am in love with the Whitsunday Islands and crusing the South Pacific. I am not happy unless I am planning my next escape - even if they are years apart. Thailand sounds interesting... hmmm so does Fiji....... Nup - on the Disneyland waggon now... Prices are good, hotels are cheap & Disneyland is awesome.... Just need the cash now.
If there is something you would like to know about me please ask I have no secrets. lol.

Arrrrgghhh. I dont know what has happened to my lovely gorgeous boy. He likes playing SNAP at the moment, as in cruising along until I say no to something then SNAP! he has a tantrum. For example, I sat down with him 2 hours ago to help start a HPE project for school he has been having trouble with, we got his project book out & we discussed what he might do, I googled some information for him to work from, I then explained it all to him & WE started work. Well he was happily writing along & asked to go on the computer to play a game, I told him he had used his computer time up today (already had 1.5hrs on the game) and he went SNAP! I got the "its not fair, I dont get to go on it very much blah blah blah" Then the great display of aggression by throwing the cushions against the couch. When I asked him to stop apparently I was"chucking the skids"??? and he "isnt in a happy mood & its all my fault"! Fair dinkum. These little outbursts are becoming more frequent and he seems to be harder to reason with now.
If you have a spare handbook lying around the house can I please have it???? |

Hello my lovely friends.
Well I get the keys to my house tomorrow which means we will be moving over the weekend. Last time Telstra stuffed up my connection which in turn stuffs up my internet which means I cant get on to chat or see how everyone is doing.
So I thought I would just post here and say that I hope everyone has a lovely weekend & I will see you when we are reconnected up again.

Well its been awhile huh. Well this is whats been going on if you are interested.
Sold my house. Bought a nice new camper trailer. Went camping for xmas. Had 4 weeks off with my boys which is the longest I have ever had with them & it was awesome! Went back to work . Ty started in grade 7, I cried & he was fine . Harv started grade 2 & loves it. Just bought a house & will have a mortgage again . Its a thumper of a house, needs some updating, but is as solid as a rock 10 mins from the city. 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 garages, a rumpus & it backs onto a bush reserve so I am very very very excited about moving in that is, not the fact that I will be working until I am 99 to pay it off . Settlement is next week on the 27th. Work is flat out & I have that much planning, designing, writing, researching & delivering to do it is not funny. Took on an additional role as well of going out to schools delivering a safety package to primary schools which is absolutely awesome. ummmmm..,, Packing at the moment ready for the last move of my life - fingers crossed.
I think thats the basics oh.... I also broke a nail today, right down in the middle & it hurts...

What on earth in this world is going on??? I have had 3 bad customer service experiences in the last 3 weeks!!! Very very bad.
1. Telstra - stuffed up our phone transfer - ended up at escalated complaints just to get the problem they created fixed - 3 days late!
2. AAMI - Already have 2 policies, ringing to get the camp trailer insured, got cut off, rang back - they have never heard of the girl I was talking to apparently, emailed a complaint & got a reply that they would ring me asap, didnt get a call, rang back 2 days later to organise it. So 3 calls just to get insurance.
AND 3. Chrisco. Rang at 4.30 to confirm order will be here today, told yes & that we must hang around until 7pm, then I got an sms saying it would be Thursday, rang them back & was told we were given the wrong information & that it was the gift hamper we give to mum, that would be delivered today. Then I confirmed what would be delivered on Thursday & they have that wrong as well & even though it hasnt been delivered yet there is nothing they can do to fix it & I have to ring back after the wrong hamper is delivered to complain about it then!!
The ironic thing about all this is that I am a workplace trainer - I train customer service, call management skills, conflict etc. & people really reaLLY SUCK AT DELIVERING GOOD C USTOMER SERIVCE....... ARRRRGGGHHHHH I CANT HANDLE IT ANY MORE I AM GOING TO EXPLODEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AARRRRGGGHHHHHHHH |
