Busy few weeks

Comment Published at 07:1307:135 comments5 comments38 Visits38 VisitsReport

I never thought the last two to three weeks would be the opposite of my expectations. And sadly those weeks was renewing and applying for emergency passports, booking flights for family members, attending a funeral, then to fly back and discover the battle with cancer had taken hold for another family member, but never conquered this close family member's spirit. Partaking in the organising of the second funeral was special and a privilege to do. You do also realize the power of loving each day as if it were the last and making sure you tell your loved ones you love them every day.

Rest in peace those close to us who have passed away.

Re: Busy few weeks

Passing of a loved one or hearing sad news of others, does  give one a reality check, on just how precious life is and that we should never hesitate to let those around us know how we feel for them.

My Condolences  to you & your family.

Janice

Sorry to hear that!  Hug those little ones tight, one good thing about death is that it gives us a great appreciation for life and what we have.
