Turning on Christmas...

Comment Published at 03:3503:354 comments4 comments119 Visits119 VisitsReport
Phew, since moving in to our house (it has been just over 4 months)...I can see the Christmas spirit starting. I think all our calendars are starting to fill up, I am thinking how do I get organise to get th first big Christmas tree up for Codi...well what I need to do is, organise what needs to be given away, what we need to keep in the garage and clean out the guest/multi-purpose room so I can get the tree up. Currently, we have just cleared the garage so we can finally park the other car in (poor car was getting salt damage)...so now the multi-purpose room is full of things to clear away...and reminders to get things fixed likes bikes etc

Since I don't have much to blog about other than junk - lol...I guess I am at a stage of organising the house for Christmas, but also looking forward to the holiday season.

Preparing for Christmas
I so wish all the organizing would get done on its own.  It helps that all my Christmas decorations are stuck in storage.   I guess we'll just be feeling the Christmas spirit without all that pesky decorating.  I'm with Beth that the orgainizing will still all be there in January.

I know the feeling

I know the feeling Rachel.. Our christmas tree is already up and has been for almost 2 weeks now.. Crazy eh? And christmas is like a few weeks away. Oh ya and I need to organize my storage area's, they are FULL of box's its unbelieveable.. silly how much stuff 2 people can accumilate in just a few years.

I hope that you have a great christmas though.. I will, I think my dad is coming up to visit me again for christmas like last year.. He lives 3000 miles away in Nova Scotia. (if you ever come to Canada for a visit, visit there in the summer time and same with Calgary(where I am) come in July and bring Codi to the Calgary Stampede, I'm sure he will love it) Oh.. Has Codi ever seen snow before? That would be nice for him eh?  (I heard on the news last week or 2 weeks ago that somewhere in Australia got snow)

But I hope that you have a good time putting up the Christmas tree and have fun cleaning out the guest/multi-purpose room!!

An encouragement

Moves are always a good reason to re-organize and declutter!

Hope you can spend more time enjoying the holidays and less time cleaning--all the stuff will be there come January! And it's okay to keep the celebration a little simpler this year!

Beth
