Well, the little codester in very much into Teletubies and I am sure he saw it on some kids program being advertised. Well, he just loves it. He is now also into Bigfoot over here in the US. Its a preschool program about kid monster trucks that learn all sorts of things at monster truck school. The little one is growing up.

bigfoot
My son discovered BIgFoot a few months ago and after that, he would ask for it every morning. Though nowadays he asks for Blues Clues.

Ailish is a huge Dorothy Fan

We live and breath and only eat when we are watching the Wiggles.  There are days when Ailish will be all rugged up and insist on wearing her Dorothy the Dinasaur

(she calls it Doh-hee) on the outside of everything else so she can kiss it when ever she likes.........................at 16 months (actually this has been going on for a couple of months, so about a 14 month start).  Can you imagine what she'll be like as a 3 year old or God for bid, a teen ager...Aaaarrgghh. (sorry , my life just flashed before my eye's in a whirl wind of laundry from umpteen clothes changes a day).

Everytime she's in her high chair the wiggles has to be on or she won't eat anything.  I miss the news, I miss Oprah at mid day and Sunrise in the morning, I

I'm begining to hate the wiggles, I pick on them in my head...Jeff's obviously suffering from Narcolepsy (falls asleep at the drop of a hat), Anthnony either has Bullemia, Prada willie syndrome or is hypo Glysemic because he is eating constantly (but never gets fat), Greg who is the worlds worst (yet possibly tallest) magician is suffering from dellusions of granduer...I'm yet to find fault with Murrey, but I'm sure it will come to me.

How long do these fases last I wonder, I know lots of kids I worked with loved the wiggles until they were 5 years old.I may not make it...........If you don't hear from me again, it is because I have thrown myself in front of the Big Red Car to end it all.

ZeeYa (I don't know why they say that either???)

Ailish is a huge Dorothy Fan

Hi,my  lovely 4 year old son loves Bob the Builder. He drove me crazy for a few months wanting tooo  watch it,demanding to watchh it and always had an inbuilt radar when it might be comin on-1/2 hour before so you would be reminded.I bought him a dvd a couple of weeks ago of BtB,his 16 yo sister got him one too and he has watched them about 3 times. His watched bob on tv a few times since then as well.

What astounds me is that his new love is The Wiggles.Videos we  have had on the shelf for the last 8 yrs.He could have decided this before we bought the dvds.(ha ha!)He is now watching them every day.

Believe me the phase will pass as quick as it started. The trick is surviving it  while its happening.

Enjoy dorothy today, she might not be here tomorrow!!

bye for now,jen

Go The Upside Down Show with the Umbilical Brothers.....

I dont know what it was about teletubbies but my kids loved them.  I can watch most kids shows, especially Dora, but teletubbies, forget it.  That was the most boring show for me and I really dont think they teach anything, but still, if it settles the kids down and they like it and they are finding something in it, well who am I to judge!

My favourite show now and the kids too, is "The Upside Down Show" on Nick Jr with the Umbilical Brothers....they are hilarious for kids and parents alike!

Haha,teletubies
I have always been proactive in teaching and taking childrens issues very seriously...so don't take this wrong but ..we had a Shepherd that had not been raised with kids so to teach him to be 'gentle" we got a teletuby. If the dog was too rough it giggled which he hated. So he did learn to be gentle through this but he also learned how to bury...only thing he ever buried was teletuby but the funny part was how he was sitting there thinking we wouldn't notice. So he was told to put it in the house so he dug it up and set it back in the house...then I swear he backtalked me. Dogs are so intelligent.
