Proud parenting moments

Comment Published at 09:2909:296 comments6 comments51 Visits51 VisitsReport
Wow, Codi turned three last week and wow in just a week I have discovered how he really understands things and logic is starting to take place.

Like how al of a sudden he gets numbers past 10 and says the numbers as I write all by himself up to 30!!! and he is happily singing ABC's song and... funniest of all...

He loves a top 10 song called "Don't Matter" and loves singing the chorus and also sings

"Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me" and I love saying...oh yeah mamma is hot oh yeah

what a great stage we are at :0)

with his nanny who is really like an aunty, he can count to ten in portugese, sing 2 songs in this language

you know its all worth it, even if he sleeps next to us, i think we secretly love it that he rolls into us in the morning with his hair everywhere in my face or his daddy's - hehe

oh the joy of parenthood...hehe i feel like saying...

"this has been a special proud moment brought to you by the makers of Minti"

hehe see you round Minti, my friends!!!!

Rach

Re: Proud parenting moments
Children are so special i have had the opportunity to be at a local childcare centre helping with shared fruit. before it starts the children come together for some singing and signing.Yes all the staff have learnt to sign as they have a ferw special needs children attending. the children love to sing and sign and I am picking up the basics as I go and learning some new songs. My last day is Tuesday and I am making fruit kebabs with children. Enjoy the special moments you bond with them they are precious as too soon they grow up and you will miss these unique times

That's great Rach I really like hearing about parent's proud moments regarding their kids. Codi's a smart little three year old, that's for sure!!!

Well done Codi - another boy to prove that boys are NOT dumb and behind academically from girls...woo hoo!!!

Happy Belated birthday Codi.

That is fantastic....

Don't you just love that feeling when they just get it... I mean when you realize they actually understand what you are saying...

Congratulations, job well done....

He sounds like he is going to be one smart cookie....

AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY CODI...
