To those that aren't aware,
Techcrunch is one of the top technology blogs on the internet that tracks Web 2.0 companies and provides a critique, much like a restaurant critique on internet start ups, their business model and growth.
Minti has been an interesting one to profile, as we have purposely focused on the social and human aspect of our business model first to really give back to a society niche that I believe was being forgotten.
So technically,
Minti is a human story powered by some sophisticated tech to allow parents connect and share at a higher level.
What brought me to happy emotional tears is this has been achieved and is being reflected back to me by the heart felt comments on our latest
Techcrunch review. It makes me want to strive higher and higher, encourage parents to reach more parents all over the world. I have definitely been made a better mother by this experience, and I didn't have to travel to Africa to learn how to be a mother, like Angelina Jolie had the privilege of doing.
I have my town, village, my friends and support right here,
Minti brightens my day knowing that this place is here, for parents that want it, enjoy it and need it...I am constantly thinking about the lives of the parents here on this site, the lives of their children and if families are becoming a little bit happier. I am so proud to be a part of such an amazing real community - :0)
Its made my hubby understand parenting at such an amazing level. It makes him assess what he wants for our children, the stories he reads humbles him, makes him realize just how important mothers are (even more so) and the impact we are having every day on our children can be reviewed, assessed, changed and we are constantly learning. We have an outlet to freely learn and share without the prejudices of the outside world.
And yes, technology can do good, it's not all about money and greed.
So enjoy the story and wonderful
