What are your kids favorite things?

Comment Published at 08:2808:2812 comments12 comments429 Visits429 VisitsReport
Codi now likes - Digimon, Nascar Racers Cartoon, Wilbur, Tiger n Poo

Sleeps with Chick Hicks, loves his Lightning MacQueen blankie. I am sure I have seen the Cars Movie 300 times in the last year and a half!!!! lol

He loves soft animals, particularly a puppy dog named Codi, a kitty cat named Mamma, and Scooby Doo named Daddy. I beam when he tells Kitty Cat (Mamma) to "say I love you Codi, say I love you Mamma, say I Love you Daddy. Just like what we do before bed. Kitty Cat (mamma) hugs him all day....aawww I feel proud to be mamma!!! hehe

Re: What are your kids favorite things?
Jay is 23 months... He likes all vehicles - Helicopters are his particular favourite.  He likes to watch goodnight kiwi, then helicopters before bed now & the traffic helicopter is his alarm clock every morning.

He also loves riding bikes, blowing bubbles and he is rarely awake, or asleep without at least one ball tucked under his arm.

He taught himself to throw and catch at around 11months, and now he likes to bat balls around with a cricket bat, or anything he can get his hands on.  He loves the Cars movie, and he likes watching cars, and bikes race.

He know's 'truck' day, so we have to go outside and watch the garbo and recycling men do their thing... They give him a big wave, and he yells out thank you.

He just LOVES life - it is a privilege to see the world through his eyes, and love it along with him.

My almost 8 year old daughter likes anything girly! She is into princess stuff. Nothing in particular really. She just loves cartoons.
My 4 and a half year old son loves Thomas the Tank Engine. Nothing beats trains or Thomas. He also like Cars and Lightning McQueen - he has a bowl with that car on it and he always wants to use it. He likes Hot Wheels too.
My two year old likes Thomas like his brother. He loves anything with wheels. Trains. Trucks. Cars. Motorbikes. Planes. He loves it all.

Re: What are your kids favorite things?

Well I would have to say that Caker's favorite shows are - Dora, Diego, 4 Square and Big Comfy Couch (they are all on Treehouse.. my lord 4 square and big comfy couch drive me INSANE!!!)

She loves to sleep with her stuffies.. If she could have it her way, I know she would sleep with ALL of them lol. But normally its her Eeyore (well it was MINE lol) and a few little small ones, with her sippy cup (full of water) and her blue blankie that her great aunt gave her when she was born)

She even has a dora doll that her grandmother bought her, she LOVES IT.. now she likes to slam it down on the coffee table and it makes a HUGE noise lol.. A doll stroller she has (but its not broken - she's now sad about that), 1 cabbage patch kid and a cabbage patch baby she treats them like babies! :)
So yes, I am very proud to be a momma and have taught her stuff along the way :)

Oh.. Even her rocker and Dora chair she LOVES to sit in!! :)

Hi Rachel,

Sumara is going nuts with Hi-5 and yells NO NO when the DVD is coming to an end. She is also into running games and loves to play Ready-Set-Go . . .  My poor hallway is getting worn out!

Danesha is not really developing any new interests at them moment so you can find her still colouring away in her books and as for my teenager Sam, well she is 16 so as you can imagine its BOYS BOYS BOYS . .

Hope your  pregnancy is going well . . . Cheers Kellz

Cars....  what is cars, the thing that drives you from a to b  LOL  I've never seen the movie, but with having a son this is what I have to get used to.  I suppose you and izzy know just about every single word to the movie.

Re: What are your kids favorite things?

I think I've seen Cars about 300 times too! But thankfully, we are slowly graduating from it. Though Matthew still loves Lightning McQueen and Doc, he doesn't ask to watch the movie as much anymore. He is now into Go Diego Go and Fireman Sam. And any thing to do with construction, in particular anything Tonka.

Like Codi, Matthew also pretends the cars have a family : a mom, a dad, a baby, and sisters. In fact, we just rented Ratatoillie this weekend and when the woman chef and the main character kissed, he said they're a mommy and a daddy. LOL
