Breastfeeding avatars a no-no at Facebook, but at Minti no problem

by rachelcookComment Published at 16:5916:597 comments7 comments166 Visits166 VisitsReport

Well, the issue is on again, this time it's at facebook... Minti allows breastfeeding avatars and of course breastfeeding avatars shouldnt contravene a sites Terms and Conditions in relation to pornographic material but if anyone has seen a proper breastfeeding avatar it doesn't (who sees anything anyway with a baby latched on is beyond me)...I think breastfeeding is beautiful and art like so what's wrong with it Facebook, should we be banning pictures of the Statue of David???

Come on Mark Z get with the program, women should have the right to breastfeed in public and we do it fashionably, so why ban mothers from displaying it and show support for breastfeeding in avatars.

Let members have a breastfeeding avatar, and with some non-offensive guidelines that members agree to, why not!!! Apparently, FB has guidelines, or removes if there are complaints by members, but I would be surprised if the photo was a breach of the terms and conditions or was porno in nature.

Chemical free kids drink cups - buy them at Kids Depot

by rachelcookComment Published at 14:4014:400 comments0 comments58 Visits58 VisitsReport

Well, my wishes came true. I blogged recently about chemical free baby bottles and I was wishing that I could find chemical free kids drinking cups and I did, one of our advertisers Kids Depot had them, how cool, I didn't have to search high and low. I bought the cool cow cups black and blue. I feel happy and I have peace of mind knowing that my kids aren't being slowly poisoned.

Now I need adult drink bottles that don't have the chemicals. It freaks me out to think that we are drinking water in bottles that have eostrogen type hormones altering our body and could explain a lot of women's mood swings and other ailments in men.

With a family very susceptible to allergies, I have kept them at bay by being so diligent in removing bad chemicals from our home and using home remedies. Now I also have to check out the nature store to find deodorant, and a good shampoo and conditioner for the family.

I guess for me it pays to be diligent and rid bad chemicals from our bodies, it's like being slowly microwaved over our lifetime, no wonder our cells can't cope and circum to cancer type nasties.

Just view here a news report about shampoos and pregnancy...

Here's the pics of my new drink bottles for the kids...over 25 million sold in the UK alone...
