Well hello I've been given a huge hint to start my blog so here goes......... for those who don't know, I dislocated my knee around 6 weeks ago. I tripped over the SAFETY (ha) gate in the kitchen.... we have tiles..It was not pretty. I have a very very active and cheeky 3 year old Emma and Lachlan is 1. I was laid up for around 2 weeks where I could not walk, let alone run around after the ferals. (My mum who lives about 15 mins away moved interstate 3 days after I did it! What timing...My hubby works over 65 hours a week he only has Saturdays off and some weeks a Wed). My MIL had to drive 2 hours each way to come and help me nearly everyday for those 2 weeks. I do have a wonderful MIL she is helpful, not judgemental,and loves me and is a very lovely person. She also has a part time job and also looks after my neice and nephew through the week so she had her hands full but you would never have known it. She just soldiered on...as you do. I will tell you all about the next 4 weeks over the next few days. It hasn't been easy but don't they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger?

Hi all. Well this is the first time I've ever blogged,and it is for a very good reason. Lachlan my youngest, took his first unassisted steps today!!! He will be 1 on the 21st of June.As he was born at 29 weeks he is only 9 months corrected. My daughter who is now 3 was walking by 8 months, so it seems that Lach is on track. I was told he would develop a little slower seems not in the walking department anyway. I turned around while washing dishes to find him taking 4 steps and now won't stop stepping away from furniture! I will really know I'm alive now hey!
