I feel bad if that happens too!  Often the shops don't know what's going to be on sale in the fliers as it's put out by head office,well that's how it is here.   I just(I hate dealing with returns at the best of times) take my bill,show what I bought and when and compare it to the flier and get the refund. If it is under a couple of bucks but that's huge,think of the fun you'll have spending it again!! 

You know, I went nuts and spent a small fortune the other week on bunny rugs, about $14 for a pack of 2, in Big W.  now, we went back there a few days ago, they were reduced to $8 for the same ones!!!!!  I didn't take mine back though, wasn't worth the hassle or the petrol.

It is always the way though and oh so annoying, but I believe in getting the item while it is still actually there!!!!!!

You could always return it and then go back and put it on layby, that way, they would be none the wiser!!!!

People do that all the time, especially with the chain stores where they have a returns policy and you just need to show the receipt.  So don't feel bad, just do it....over $50 saving......if it is a chain store, just take it back to the service counter and they will refund and then go and buy it back.  When you buy it back you'll go through the checkouts so won't be dealing with the same person anyway.

Take it back... It was quite deceitful of them to allow you to do that.  Don't be a little chicken - stand up for yourself, because you can do a lot with the extra money, even buy something else in the same place if they are nice about it.

I agree with Dee........don't say anything about the sale or the phone call. Just be really nice and say you bought it for someone and they already had one. Just try and be as nice as possible.

I rang target and asked if i could refund it they said unless its faulty they wont refund me...

Yes i would take it back get refund then go back into the shop and go find it and buy it :)

If you are going to return it make sure they have it in stock! We did that once and we returned it, got our money back, and then they didnt have any left for us to buy on special! LOL!

If you have the receit they have to refund full price. If you dont have it then they will at the new price

I always checkt o see the prices before I buy something that is more than $30.

I'd take it back!! Or if you dont want to do it, send your hubby in to return it and tell him to say that he bought it as a gift and you found out that someone else had already gotten it! Then you go in and buy it again for cheaper!

Absolutely take it back. They're usually pretty good about that sort of thing. Don't worry I think most of us have done the same thing at some time or another.

Time for me to fess up... I did this once!!! Well, I sent a friend of mine back to the store (Big W) to get a refund but they wouldn't refund cos the goods weren;t damaged grrr!! They did however offer an exchange so she said sure, came and found me, I purchased the same thing at half the price, got half of my money back lol!!! Go on, I'd do it!!!

Depending on where you got it from. I have done this before. Hee hee. Except I went some where else to buy it cheaper! my bad . Hope they let you cos it is so frustrating when it happens.

If it was me yes ,but i send mick in as he is better for getting refunds then me lol..
