Hi there,
My family and I live in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.
We like most people, are paying a morgage and trying to do the best we can for the kids.
Both my husband and I work, we have almost finished renovating our first house and we have started renovations on an old stone home on my husbands parents farm, it's a gorgeous old sandstone house... so full of character and it's nice to be close and on hand to help my mother in law manage the farm.
We have 2 Daughters Phoebe and Katelyn. Phoebe is so full of life, strong willed, has a strong sence of empathy and is generally very happy, Phoebe, Katelyn and my Husband are my hero's I see life so differently when I am with them!
While my husband has been in this area all his life, I however grew up travelling up and down the East Coast of Australia and primarilly in QLD (I have family history in the area we live now). This is one of the reasons why I have signed up to this web site as I don't know a lot of people in the area here and lack support from other mothers / parents to talk to regarding any parenting situations that crop up, I am hoping that the advice shared on this site will help me be a better parent and more ready to cope with situations that others have been through and spocken about. |
