hi guys

sorry i havent been on as much but here is an update

raymond has started at a new school and is doing well with signing , he is making friends yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

connor is about to start big school this year i am so proud of him . he has made so many friends and adores playing and being a big brother .

patrick is doing alot better after the surgury he had and his hearing has inproved.

jade is doing well , she is now completely walking and talking she is getting taller and cheekier by the day .

our new little one that i am now currently pregnant with is growing great . 

we have finally chosen her name she is going to have it is 

CAITLIN ROSE KEEN 

i am 24 weeks exactly , today

so now i  will have 3 boys and 2 girls

i am over the moon yay

im now 19 weeks and 6 days so almost there

here we go 

raymond  john keen aged 5 years     - as you all know he has a diagnosis of severe infantile autism  he is completely none verbal but does have echolia where he tends to repeat just one word over and over 

when he was a newborn he would look me in the eyes and even though everyone was saying his smile towards me was just wind i could tell it wasnt because he would smile then suck my nose lol then snuggle in for a cuddle 

when he started rolling i was over the moon to see my little angel i had waited years for starting to meet his milestones 

i was so proud of every tiny thing he did 

he then started commando crawling which at times i copied hehehe you could see me commando crawling after him and he would giggle then copy me 

then he started pulling himself up on things and started babbling i was in awe ............. every smile , giggle etc etc i was bouncing off the walls in joy .

once he started walking completely on his own he would grab the stroller and grab a doll (that represented his new baby brother connor on the way )  and would walk it round the house . he was such a proud big brother 

he would constantly be playing then all of a sudden stop then run up to me and rub my tummy then go back to playing .

when i gave birth to connor , raymond wanted the first hold =) and wouldnt stop bugging me till he got it 

then when i placed connor in raymonds arms he hummed the lullaby that i always sang to him he hummed it to his new baby brother then they both fell asleep in each others arms 

once we took connor home raymond helped with the breastfeeding by  if i had connor ready for a feed ray would lift my shirt and push connor into my breast lol

at dinner time he always tried to feed his little brother =)

he would help with nappy changes by grabbing a nappy for me and change of clothes =) my little helper

he loved bath time cause i would be in there too with me , him and connor and he would show his brother all his cool bath toys 

then when it came bed time he wanted to hum the lullaby and pat his brother to sleep 

then he would want me to do the same with hi m once his brother was asleep 

he loves daycare but didnt play m uch with other kids but was protective over his brother  ie....... if someone was holding his brother  he would stand by that persons side and wouldnt leave till connor was handed back to me .

not long after he was 2 we got a diagnosis of infantile autism or also classed as classic autism   and we got him to a special needs daycare we found out that i was pregnant once again 

this time with patrick 

and again raymond started doing the exactly same things he did when i was pregnant with connor 

by this time connor was crawling so raymond would do the same at times 

connor started helping like ray did ie........... folding washing or should i say grabbing washing and pushing them together lol

they were so helpful 

ray showed connor everything he had done when i was pregnant with him and connor was coping 

they both walked up at same time and rubbed my tummy then went  back to playing etc etc 

then after patrick was born they did the same thing 

helping with changes and bathing and bedtimes and trying to feed each other lol

ray was teaching patrick to crawl and since we had started sign language ray  was teaching connor and then connor started teaching patrick 

it is so cute to see the sign of I LOVE U  from ur kids 

 not long after this raymond started  pre kindy he adored it he was progressing so well

he was starting to sign more and the one word i wanted to hear was i love u and he was taught by his teacher how to say it 

i was the best day hearing that from him 

he has started proper kindy now and is adoring it and connor is so proud 

patrick is picking things up so quickly 

raymond started school and is doing great , he has started swimming and has picked it up extremely quick 

he can now swim on his own 

and unaidded 

he has also helped in teaching connor and patrick  and now both connor and patrick can swim unaided too now

once again  i found out i was pregnant in 2008  with jade  

raymond , connor  and patrick picked up the same habit again 

it was so funny .....................................

as they would take turns playing then coming up to me and rubbing my tummy  then smile and then go back to playing 

it would always make me smile 

they are so protective over each other , as soon as raymond would come home from school he would check on his brothers and vice versa with connor and patrick would do the same to him 

when its time for bed , raymond always wants to tuck his brothers into bed and has recently loved tucking daddy into bed too lol

even sometimes he wants me to bring the dogs in to rub their tummies till they go to sleep  it is sooooooooooooo adorable 

he loves being read to 

i have read every night since he was born 

but he normally signs the story to his brothers as im reading them 

but once it comes to his bedtime he wants me to sign while reading the words 

this puts the biggest grin on his face 

i sign to a song called brahms lullaby and thats the one he hummed to connor as a baby 

he adores that song and he loves being wrapped like a baby (at 5) 

he loves people but if his routine id interupted he has a little trouble 

he is the best child you will ever meet and he wouldn't ever hurt a fly ever 

he just needs more people to understand autism and the way he is 

 he is my angel and i have always been so proud of my handsome little guy 

he has taught me so many things about life 

that i am so great ful for 

i wish everyone in the world could learn from him of how to treat people as it would make the world a better place 

 

 hi guys 

i had a major misscarraige scare last night as most that know me on facebook will have seen 

i am about 13 and a half weeks almost forteen weeks and all of a sudden i was getting severe  cramps in the tummy 

there was no blood which was good but i had a doctor come out and check and said that for the next week i am to rest 

how can i 

4 ones under 6 and pregnant 

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm how bout they come and do everything then , then maybe i can relax 

hubby does nearly everything atm since this happened but i still cant help myself to want to help

as most people can see by the question i put in q and a that jade has recently dropped a massive amopunt of weight going from the 50th percentile to under the 3rd and i had just gotta back from a place in cambera called QE2 which for in nsw is like tresillian , which ment my mum looked after my boys for a week

we have been doing a high calorie diet for her and nothing is working she keeps loosing the weight

we have had all blood test done and nothing is coming up its scaring me whats going on as i just want to make her better

she has gone extremely pale

she will be admitted to hospital with a tube down her throat to fatten her if this dosent work

which means she will spend christmas in hospital and also miss out on her brothers birthday on the 22nd december too

im sitting here crying trying to help my baby and am at wits end please just some support right now PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

yesterday morning when i woke up all the kids had been playing nicely then outta nowhere a big scream came outta my little girl so when i went to pick her up i noticed she was very very very hot ,

so i checked her temp and it had gone up to 38.5 and it really concerned me so i gace her some panadol and not long after that it spiked to 38.7 so we called an ambulance and raced to hospital .

while there we were left by the hospital for 10 hours with no doctor seeing jade . NOT HAPPY AT ALL as my daughter could have had a febrile convulsion by then , then all of a sudden her temp went to a massive

39.7 which scared the living hell outta because connor had a febrile convulsion at a lower temp then that

luckly she didnt she ended up having a severe ear infection . very early this morning jades temp dropped and we could take her home

she was ment to go to daycare today but under advice she was told not to go by the hospital

so nanny has had the boys while me and dad have been with her at hospital

but today when after we had a rest from getting home from hospital jade has spike another temp so it looks like we may have another hospital trip on out hands

my poor little darl she is so unwell that she keeps just falling asleep outta nowhere she has no energy whatsoever but is still eating and drinking which is a good sign

will keep u all posted on how she is doing

things are going really well here  

Raymond is doing really well in school he has made some little friends YAY .

i am very proud of how he is doing , recently he got a a certificate for being the best behaved child in his classroom .

he is doing really well with his sign language and is now signing when he wants food and drinks ,

he also signs his sister and brothers names  . and recently has been signing MUMMY I LOVE YOU  omg the words i have been waiting to hear  still one day at a time and we will get there in the end .  he is now 5 and is turning 6 in april next year  he is in kindy at his special school and doing amazingly well 

 Connor  is now 4 years old and doing really well at preschool  he did his gymnastics competion he didnt win but he got a certificate for it and he was extremely proud of himself and so was i as of all the training and effort he put into his training . he has choosen to stop dancing for now and has learnt to ride a bike with training wheels but is now asking daddy to take them off .as he feels he is a big boy now 

Patrick  is 2 and since his ear operation his hearing and speech has improved sooooo much , he too loves gymnastics  and loves the big trampoline  . he adores preschool and he still is extremely cheeky he plays with connor heaps and both him and connor try and get raymond involved in many things they do to show him their world to and vice versa 

jades now 14 months and is now learning to walk she now grabs onto furniture and pulls herself up and also can walk with both hands held and even sometimes lets go of one of our hands and walks so now when we go our there is no pram she even holds onto her brothers hands and walks along with them  it is so adorable to see 

 she is also talking now she can now say two word sentences and if you ask her a question she will now answer either yes or no and she  knows what you are asking and replying with the answer that would go with it 

like if u ask do u want more , if she does she will answer yes and if she doesnt she will say no 

she is also now in daycare so now i have one in big school , 2 in preschool and one in daycare so now when they are now all at school i dont know what to do with myself lol 

 

 hi all 

sorry its been so long since my last blog

i have some good news , raymond has started school YAY. he is getting along so well with all his classmates and special needs teacher  and  has also started doing sign language  its amazing . im sooooooooooooo proud of him , he has been showing great eye contact and loves playing with his brothers and sister . he still has his days but they are getting less and less of where he wont show eye contact . we take it one day at a time  

also connor  has been going to preschool lately and making lots and lots of friends  he is so smart i mean i find myself sometimes feeling like im chatting to another adult (i mean by how well he can speak) he  is also doing dancing and he loves it so much and i took them to gymnastics to see how hey would go and they adore it soooooooooooo much . connor will be entering into next terms gymnastics competion where he can win medals so i have my fingeres crossed as he has been training . even when he is playing you can see him learning his routines for gym . its so cute  he makes me very proud 

patrick also goes to preschool with connor and as soon as we turn up he goes hypo he loves it . recently patrick had to have an operation as he had a ear infection that lead to a burst ear drum (perfurated eardrum)  during the surgury they took out his adnoids and put in grommets too . since having that operation his speech has started to return and better . patrick loves helping raymond with his  homework and so i give the kids a piece of paper each and they try and copy raymond with the drawing . i sometimes sit there and watch them enjoying that time together as it really warms my heart that they have found a great way to open raymond up to their world too 

jade has gotten so big . she is now crawling , pulling herself up on things and she has begun speaking YAY well atm its still (mum mum and dad dad  but she ahs now actually been saying ray, con, pat and she calls herself jay as she hasnt quite got her d's yet lol 

so  all is well and things are going along slowly but surely 

 

she began projectile  vomiting at 9am and  and then getting really sleepy after every vomit so we ended up taking her to our nearest hospital and  where she began throwing up every single breastfeed  what scared me during the day is her tempreture hit 38.5 at one point and my boys have had a febrile convulsions at 39 degrees and i was so worried i was gonna see another one of my babies fitting again   later during the day while at the hospital we found out jade had caught  viral gastroenteritis  and  at about 11pm last night we were finally discharged from hospital after she started being able to hold down her breastfeeds and that i have found out i have  also picked it up too  which is not so fun so grandma is having some fun with the boys so it is less likely for them to catch it (fingers crossed)

i hope she feels a bit better very soon she is resting at the moment and holding down feeds so that is a great sign atm
