I never really looked at it that way Rue but just the thought of it puts a smile on my face.

It is something that many people go through and it is cruel, it is like part of you has been cut out and the wound never heals.

I can feel the warmth jumping out at me.

Life changing it is for sure, when I was a child (as I was when Paul died) the last thing from my mind was that I would soon bury my own child. It just wasn't possible.......but it was.

Who was it that said life wasn't meant to be easy.....bar.........stards must have thought about using me as a roll model i'm sure.

But life goes on and I do have my lovely wife to help me through.

We must keep looking to the future and make the best of each and every day.

Looking out of the hospital one of the last things I remember was the river so each year I try to visit a river/stream/creek (depends on where I am living) and have some quiet to remember.

The 1st year I sad by the river for a short while I thought and a whole day passed me by...not good.

I only recently shared the whole story with my wife so now I have someone to share in the sorry.

A trouble shared is a trouble halved...Not quite but it helps.

I'm off to the river now for lunch so I will catch all you kind minti mob when I come back...maybe even a bit later.

I remember him every day so every day is hard without him but yes, today will be quite an emotional one.

I just have to make sure that I don't take things out on the rest of my family.

Planning to go to the park near the river for a small bbq as a kind of memorial.

You miss him soo  much because you were his Father and you grieve for what woudl have been. It what Father's do...I have not walked in your shoes but I can say I am very sorry for your loss.
