P.S.
I'm rather shy, in spaces, so if you want to add me as a friend, please just click on the link and do so. Don't take it personally if I don't come right out and add you. I'm just me, like that. |

Just found out yesterday that my best friend Sarah is pregnant!!! *dancing* |

Alec and I had to make a run to the Emergency Room yesterday. He has been sick for a week, with low-grade fevers and coughing and sniffling and the whole nine. Yesterday he had a fever of 102.6, which spiked to 103 not 5 minutes later. I was in Panicked Mommie mode. I borrowed Sarah and Jamey's truck and hauled my hind-end to the Hospital, where Alec was seen almost immediately. Thank goodness for new facilities!! He has a bad ear infection in his left ear and is on a 10-day antibiotic regimen. His ear is already draining, thankfully, he is smiling this morning, and he slept a full 12 hours last night, uninterrupted. Whew!! Spring is almost here. I'm exceedingly glad of that!! |

*rubs sore muscles and smiles*
Sarah and family arrived yesterday at 12:45 p.m. EST. After taking them up to see their new home, which they absolutely love (relieved!!), she and her two sons and I went to lunch across the street while Jamey, her husband, began unloading the trailer. Afterward, I grabber her 9-year-old, Jerod, and we went to pick Alec up from the school bus stop. Jerod and I had an Awesome snowball war, hahaha. They rarely get snow in Vegas, and watching his smile and hearing that infectious giggle was great!! Once Alec had arrived, we went back and I helped unload some more while the 3 boys played together (I overdid it, and those who really know me will shake their heads and say I always do). I made dinner for everyone around 6 p.m. and Roger came home from work at 8 p.m. and helped get the heavy stuff upstairs. Once Alec was fallen asleep, I left the monitor up in our apartment and walked next door (They are next door!!! They are really here!!!). We 4 adults hung out just talking and laughing and et cetera until midnight. Whew! Today, after we are all loaded with nicotine and caffeine, hahaha, Sarah and I are driving the trailer to Buffalo to return it and then going shopping. It promises to be a grand adventure. *grins*
YAY!!! (I'm still very bouncy and smiling like a cheshire cat) |

My friend Sarah and her family decided to move here (to New York from Las Vegas) in March instead of waiting until August, and WEE!! has it been nuts. Hahaha! I found them an apartment which is 2 doors away from mine, gave her husband a huge list of job leads, gave her the phone numbers and web addresses of the utility companies, and then some. Right now they are halfway here, having stopped in North Dakota to visit her cousin and retrieve some of her belongings from the cousin's basement. They will be leaving her cousin's place tomorrow and driving out here, in New York. YAY!!! *dancing around*
Alec is doing Fantastically with the help of an Aide in the classroom. He gets all his set work done every day, which is phenomenal. She is very soft-spoken and her eyes are So kind. I liked her instantly. It always amazes me how well things fall into place if you just close your eyes, breathe, and wait for it.
Have to take Little Man to the school bus. The running never stops, does it? *grins*
Miss you all!! |
