wow my kids slept in this morning to 8.45am infact very unusual. They were in bed early too. I look back on the year and think of how much has happened, but how fast it has gone. D1 started kindy in Feb, moved house in mar, had gallbladder removed in April, the middle of the year was quite, apart from D1's 5th Birthday Party, she had over 30 friends and family here, but for a winters day it was great, i remember the sun shone and everyone has a great day. D2 then turned 3 in August, no party, thank goodness i dont think i could handle that for atleast another 2 years. A couple of days later she went off to preschool. Been contemplating/deciding to try for another baby since September, just hope i can sort out all of my health issues first, we would really love to have another baby sooner than later, hopefully before the big 30 in just over 2 years time. November was spent with my leg in plaster for a fracture i had complained about for months but kept on getting told it was this and that until i put my foot down to get xray. It was sure enough fractured!! The first day i was out of plaster i ended up not been able to walk at all, all of my joints swelled up red and inflamed and got very very painful and stiff, this was not left undiagnosed, it is Ross river fever. December D1 graduated kindy and xmas went without a hitch. Oh but on Friday a good older friend of mine had to get her dog put down due to kidney failure, she has never had children, he was her baby, spent the day before with her. Not a nice way to end the year, but hey lets look forward to a bright and healthy new year full of hopefully good surprises and hopefully new life. |
