Today was Charlie's last day of Kindy. It was a sad day for me, but I didnt cry or anything. We got her school report today too and she got 50/50 of the very highest mark and the demenstrated mark. was a very proud Mum (for ppl who are not familia with My son's Kindy report he was mostly in the not demonstrated so I was scared about that, even though you shouldnt compare children) Am looking forward to getting Alex's one as well.
Charlie had her final day party and she loved it. She hasnt really like this year and it has been a real struggle to get her to go to school this year. She really didnt like her teacher and nor did Alex either (he has the same teacher on thursday and friday)
She had her kindy/pre-primary concert last friday and it was poorly done, but was ok. we couldnt hear half the kids songs. they really should of used the mics so we could hear. all the kids got a book donated from the P&C (which we do every year) the kids were happy cause the vice president Hedi dressed up as mrs clause. LOL was great. Charlie got a coolies book about a boy who loses his teddybear.
I am so proud of how well Charlie has done this year. she can write her name name, it looks so great.

the pictures are, me, chris, alex and her and her 2 friends from school also our cat. she has writen her name at the top right. I am on the left with mum under it then Alex is under that. Charlie is in the middle.
Alex has his last day thursday but I think it will be tomorrow as he has his concert tomorrow and it starts at 630pm and last year it finished about 10 so there is no way he will be able to handle the next day at school. His teacher is happy with his progress for a autistic child. I am looking forward to his school report (minus the science and sport part)
Got Alex's re-assesment report today and i sat there for like 40 mins reading it and re reading it. It was good and very well to the point and easy to understand. so he is offically now High functioning Autism. So now I can get a heap of more help for him which is great. So I will be signing up for the WA Autism foundation and will go to this special library that has stuff for the kids and with the WA Autism foundation he can go on special camps and workshops and HOPEFULLY make new friends.
I have been looking through all of his stuff he has brought home and am proud at what he has done. you can see the difference in the begining of the year to now. Also seeing what he does in his special class (kids who need extra help) has been great. Just have to get him to do his reading every night for next year.
1 more day and then school holidays. AHHHHHHH! What will I do to entertain them for 6 weeks......mmmmm
