| Aiden reading books, his favourite thing to do! |
I am married to a wonderful, loving husband who works as a nurse in a local nursing home. He is the proud Daddy to our two sons, Aiden (2) and Micah (5 months). We live in a wonderful community where the neighbours know each other, and it is still safe to let your kids play outside and take a walk after dark as a family.
Some of our favourite family activites include playing at the park, reading to eachother, snuggle time, and taking long walks together. We also enjoy going to church and spending time with our friends. |

Has it really been almost two years since I have posted here? Unacceptable! Although, I do have some good excuses!
When I left my sweet son had just turned one. Shortly after that he had some serious medical problems, so I was away from the computer a lot with those concerns. Well, he is now 2 and a half, walking and talking and also a big brother! He is doing so well!
Yes, we had another sweet baby boy November of last year. Life with two boys has been very busy! I had a hard pregnancy, we moved to a new place, and life just got away with me.
I will be around more often, you can be sure of that!! |

Steve and I painted our living room this weekend. We shipped Aiden off to see his Nannie and Grampie and we set to work. It looks awesome, but I am so drained. My body is aching and I have the worst cold ever! All I want to do is stay in bed and sleep or snuggle up with a good book. Zzzzzz...hope I feel better tomorrow! |

Well, my parents are gone after a week long vacation here in NB. They left this morning and Aiden was not happy about it at all. We started off the week with a little birthday party for Aiden, since they live far away and won't be able to be there for the real one in just 2 months!! We stayed in Grand Lake at a cottage there, it was so nice. The cottage was big and homey and the water was freezing. We did go swimming most days, but only for a quick dip and Aiden could only stay in the water for about 2 minutes before having to go back inside because it wsa so cold, even though he loves the water so much.
I got to see my 2 brothers and my sister. My younger brother and sister live with my parents still, so they came with them and my older brother Aaron came down and spent a night at the cottage. The only down side of the whole week was that my Mom and I had an argument (as usual, we are too much alike, lol) and Steve had to work so he couldn't stay at the cottage. Also, a dear friend of Steve's who was like a grandmother to him passed away this week and I was at the cottage and I just wanted to be home with him, but it didn't work out that way. We did make it to the funeral yesterday where Steve was a pallbearer and was able to say goodbye.
Now I am back to reality. I have to prepare myself for leading the jr. choir this year as well as leading the ladies sunday school class...those things need to be looked into right away! I also have a painting project going on. I am painting my kitchen yellow and my living room a tan colour. I can't wait, I can get rid of the white! Although I am sure it will be awhile before the paint gets to the walls, but at least it is purchased and waiting.

1. What's your child's favorite book? Well, since Aiden is so young, he doesn't really have a favourite!! But I love reading him these three titles: Love You Forever, Curious Geroge, The Velveteen Rabbit. They have been my favourites for years!
2. What's your favorite children's book? Umm, I think I just answered this one!! But some of my other favourite titles are: The Queen Who Stole the Sky, Stone Soup, and Ivy Cottage.
3. What's your child's favorite thing to eat? Anything that we are eating! Unfortunately, he has a bit of a reflux problem so table foods are harder for him, but he loves to eat little pieces of toast and pasta, and anything that we can give him from our plate!
4. What's your favorite thing to eat? Oh, that is a tough one because I love to eat. My favourite meal would be lasagna with ceasar salad and garlic bread, and chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Yummy! I also love chocolate of any kind.
5. What's your child's favorite game? Peek A Boo. Okay, okay, I need to get more creative, but he loves it. He also loves it when we play with his toys and make voices for them - it makes him laugh so much!
6. What's your favorite game? For a board game it is Wise and Otherwise. For online games, any word game...and for PC games, the Sims!
