Wow I dont know what to do with myself, Levi slept two nights in a row now from 730pm to 6am. which is great. still I woke up last night and then couldnt get back to sleep. But soon I hope I'll sleep through aswell would be nice. 7 hours sleep I had straight.. and that i think is a record, I havent slept that well since before I became pregnant. Dreams do come true.

Im so happy, last night was the first night Levi has slept through. Though of course I was awake, waiting for him to wake, and then when i decided he wasnt going to wake, I needed to express some milk or I wouldnt be sleeping at all. Levi had his immunisation yesterday and I was expecting him to be awake the night and was preparing to be tired today. Instead I was happy with the 6am wake up, which in turn was only because camerons alarm went off and he was off to work. Levi was happily playing with his feet when I went in.  SO fingers crossed that tonight follows the same pattern as last night, rather than previous nights, and it wasnt just a fluke or the immunisation.

 

Today has been one of those days that you just want to lay down and rest at the end of it. Levi decided that 5 o'clock was a good time to get up. with one short nap during the day, wow am I tired. he didnt want to play didnt want to sleep and didnt really want to have anything to eat and drink. But did have some fluids (breastmilk) thankfully. Fingers crossed tomorrow is a better day.

Today was a good day. Long but good. Dr said nothing to worry about with levi's head that it will go with time. So stress gone from that. Thankfully. Didnt sleep well last night thinking of all the possibilities. Sometimes knowing too much isnt a good thing. Thanks everyone for the support regarding this though, very greatful.  

 Went to the target toy sale which was a big mistake.. headache plus. people queing everywhere and I was there to buy two things, not layby, but i couldnt get me and the pram down any isles so one thing and we were out. I think I looked like a clown trying to carry an activity centre box, and push the pram at the sametime, me being a small framed person. but hey I managed, and we made it out of there all in one piece.

My sick mate is doing a little better, fingers crossed that all things start improving for her. well time for me to go to bed, work early in the morning, and levi has his first day with his adoring aunt.  night all.

since day 1 I have been concerned with a lump on levi's head, dr and many others told me it was fine, today we had our appointment with the maternal health nurse, finally got a great one. told me to take levi to chiro for kids, since he cant lift his arms as far as he should also said sometimes pressure on the spine causes reflux so mau help that aswell would be great if it did. then said he should see someone for his head so i need a referal from gp who's my ob.. im stressing heaps about what may need to happen, what may not, how much it will cost though if it fixes it i know its worth it. brings tears to my eyes. when he was smaller it was more obvious, and a few people did that point and talk thing, mkes you feel like crap, here you are with your baby who you thinks is the best as everyone does, and that happens.. guess today is a crap day for me. though on the upside his growing well just above the 50th precentile where he has been from the start. his a little chuuby for a baby who vommits so much.. but im glad that at least ive got that right for him. 7.2kgs.. 64cm...

well a few days ago I started levi on soilds, I know that  WHO says wait until a baby is 6 months old, hey Im a nurse I know how many times things go back and foward on research, some peditritions still say its ok to start at 4 months, and well i know my mum started me, and my siblings at 3 and a half months on soilds and we are all well and good. Gee sounds like i am justifying what I know is right for levi.. anyways.. We started soilds, since I have been feeding him 2 hrly since he was born, and lately he has wanted more, and is teething, chews, opens his mouth and gets cranky when eaten in front of and doesnt get any.. Well boy was it fun, He certainly is ready, i think if he could shove the spoon down with the food he would.. lol He gets cranky when the next spoonful isn't there quick enough, opens his mouth ready when the spoon leaves the bowl, smiles after wards, and is generally loving the soilds.. which i am glad. And Thankfully he is willing to space his feeds out a bit more. THough I am a little worried I may suffer mastitis from it if Im not careful, walking around with rocks and going away and forgetting to take my breast pump on the weekend wasnt so fun.. But alls well now.. fingers crossed stays that way.. Will be interesting if my little chubby baby gets chubbier... is that even a word???mmmm..

Everytime I click on the headline my writing disappears. anyway.. lauras baby is very cute and labour went well, 8 1/2 hrs and he was here. Little lennon.. I love the name too. He has his dads mouth and nose, and well he wasnt awake when i was there so not sure who's eyes he has. But has his mums skin. Just a cutie. Here Levi went to dr, in hoping they would give him something for his reflux.. nup, say will reduce the acid not the vommit bit.. Im so over the vommit. Its allot, not just a teaspoon here or there, its more like two table spoons each time which goes over everything, arhhhhhhhhhhhh...  So going out now is starting to become a battle..

Got the call at 4 o'clock this morning, my great mate who i went through uni with and many life events is in labour.. I am very excited for her and look forward to meeting her little man, I hope it all goes well. I feel for her though, I cant shake my own labour experience, as it wasnt a pleasant one and hope that hers is nothing like it.  well I should be hearing soon how it has gone. fingers crossed all are well..

Im really happy levi has found his feet, which is cute, but his also discovered how to make a buzzing sound which results in slobber over everything. Me, all his toys, all over his clothing, and anything we come near. It is funny though and his happy. So i shouldnt complain too much. I think his dad has been teaching him that. Wouldnt surprise me.. lol.. oh well.
