I never wrote that levi started walking when he was ten months, now he runs. My little fella has a uti, poor thing, and I am so angry with the hospital i took him to, as i knew what was wrong sinc ei had tested his urine i thought that the visit would be quick, polite and simple. I was so wrong, they were rude, irgonarant and didnt listern. Made me doubt my judgement, I am a mother who knows her child, as most mothers do, I am a registered nurse, who's focus is assessments, i should have left, but i didnt. Process was long and we left with nothing, I should have taken him to the gp but the gp wasnt open at that time of day, but we did end up there, gp was fantastic and new what she was doing, listerned to me, and backed it up with her own testing an knowledge. Needless to say in the end levi got the care and treatment he needs. But why I am writing is to say, If your a mother/father who knows their child and is sure something is wrong, make sure you seek more than one assessment to be sure they are telling you its ok. If you dont think it is dont stop until you get the statisfactory answer. |
