Wow its been 12 mths since I've been back on here - has it been an easier year? Every year has its different challenges but its been ok!

Wow, its been a long time!  Aiden is now 18mths, Declan has had his 4th birthday and its been a long haul. I'm so pleased the end of the year is so near, its been a long year with colds, pneumonia and equine influenza!! Next year surely has to be easier!!

Tonight after a story or two declan decided we needed to have a chat ( time wasting to get out of sleeping is what I usually call it! ) so we talked about the days events and if he was a good boy and used the big boys toilet he could do anything he wanted to do tomorrow, usually theres not much interest in that its all talk! Tonight he said "I need to go to the big boys toilet" and I didn't believe him I thought he was just time wasting but he said it again so I thought I may aswell give it a shot, hooray he did a pee I thought it was never going to happen and that I had missed the boat with him being nearly three - its early days yet but its much more positive than this morning thank god. The wee one (aiden) is 4mths now and just smiles and chuckles to himself so everything is all good right now.
