Me and My Family

[see all me and my family]

Well I have a partner and my very first son whom you see to the right there. He is a very easy baby to look after just the essentials make him happy :) and me too he hardly cries unless he really needs something. For eg I left him while I was at work with his Aunty who has 5 children, she admitted to me that she had left him in his nappy all the time I was at work (5 hours) and he was not bothered by it nor had he been fed! no crying nothing I have since left work and refuse to let anyone look after him except myself or myself (my partner even will do this for short periods) I refuse to punish a good child for behaving. I was also very lucky for months I was really worried about him coming out, but this was easy too I was unlucky enough to have a ceserian as there were complications with the way he was lying, diabeties etc.. so I ended up feeling nothing but a needle.

Baby is getting increasing smart now :( when they are borne they cry for nessessity feeding, hurt, nappy chnage etc.. But now baby has learnt to scream for what he wants (He must think it works for everything) and lately we have been providing his wants like picking up just to get out of hiss cot, or extra play time (he gets so tiard he falls asleep on the floor) Yes children are very clever and sooo darn cute it's hard not to do their bidding but i have put my foot down! No teeth coming through at moment, not hungry chucking bottle, not wet so will lay him down and leave him with some soft music and slowly ...

Hectic

Comment Published at 01:4201:422 comments2 comments70 Visits70 VisitsReport
Bub has been very energetic lately, perhaps the cooler weather is not tiaring him out unlike the heat, and so everyday I clean what appears to be the debri from a small but destructive tornado. I am very un happy with him taking off his nappy to wee on my floor I have tried to teach him potty but still he is far too busy playing to sit down for 5mins!. I very much feel like tying him to the potty this way he cannot make a mess nor can he accidently wee on my floor! Anyways must dash as bub is trying to plug the cord back into the wall he just pulled it out from I did say NO! but he does not listen.

Bow legged beauty

Comment Published at 01:0801:080 comments0 comments35 Visits35 VisitsReport
Well as you may have read in my lounge bub is bow legged and has been refered to a pedatrician for further examination and treatment. Sadly however when I tried to book an appointment with the local kids dr in our small regional city I found out he is book solid till August! He apparently works in our town and in Perth! I think its an outrage that we cant have a peaditrician in our small city full time, he obviously has the work arrr what kind of health care are we getting .... ****! if a parent left a child with bow legs for that long by choice we would have family and childrens on our tail but because the dr is booked it's ok?? Anyway I had my venting session feel free to comment or share your experience.

Travelling for work

Comment Published at 21:5121:510 comments0 comments9 Visits9 VisitsReport

Well hubby is working out of town and so we follow him every week and stay in a different town it is a large financial burden and we don't know how long it will last (him working) how do other families cope in this situation, is it really worth working? either we are together or we are apart and paying rent in two places why?? well House 1 is very affordable given the current rental crisis in Wa and place no 2 is non permanent and uncertain so if you have been or are in this situation please write your comments happy mothers day to all mothers for tomorrow!!
