My little angel started big school today! She looked so cute in her little uniform and shoes, and her school bag almost bigger then her! She made me so proud today. No tears (from mum either), just big big smiles, and excitement when it was time to come home.

Wow it's been so long since I last wrote in here. I have been so busy, I am now back at work, went back in Nov last year, had my ups and downs with my ankle, but found out I need more surgery, this time to remove my 'metalwork' lol. It is causing too many problems so it needs to come out. I can walk pretty normal now, but I can't walk fast, normal pace, but if I try to pick up the speed thats then the limp starts. This is pretty much how good it's going to get, it won't get much better, BUT I have accepted that. There are people out there alot worse then me, and I am just grateful I didn't lose my leg. Working is still a challenge, it still gets quite sore at work. I have to wear a compression sock all the time, especially when I'm standing alot, but I'd rather wear that then have it swell like a balloon 24/7!

On another note, my little angel is going to BIG SCHOOL!!! 8 days to go, and she is off to the world of uniforms, school shoes, lunchboxes, and 5 day school weeks not 2 days! She is sooooo excited, she can't wait. She wants the holidays to be over already lol.

I can't believe she is 5 now, and off to big school. Just makes me teary, but feel so proud. My little girl isn't so little anymore!  Buying all her school stuff was just so different.

My little girl graduating from pre school!

I am so happy. I went back to see my specialist today and he has given me the go ahead to lose the crutches and start my proper physio. Start that Monday, go back to work in Nov, and can drive my car in 3 weeks!!!!

Talk about relief and lifting a weight off my shoulders!

Not allowed to overdo it though which is pretty obvious. Still have to take things easy but I CAN WALK!!! Done some washing and hung it out, done the dinner dishes and walked up and down the stairs 3 times already (live in a townhouse) all without crutches. Feels so good, but different.

Can't wait for things to go back to normal, I really can't.

I am feeling better today although my ex is pushing my buttons and is treading on some very thin ice. It was his weekend with Natasha and decided to ask her would she like to stay another night without consulting me first. So of course I'm not going to upset her and take her home.

Honestly, I wish he would grow up. We don't have court orders at the moment so it's not like I have any legal rights, but we have had this arrangement for so long now, but because I refused to get into an argument with him the other night, he decided to pull this stunt.

I'm guessing I should get myself to the Solicitor again and get things moving. I had just hoped that it wouldn't have to come to that but I can see it happening again and again. I just don't understand why. I am civil to him and his girlfriend because of Nataha, why can't they just do the same and grow up and be the adult his age suggests!

Anyway, apart from that I am feeling better. Hope you all have a great week.

Been feeling really flat and low the past week or so. The 'Black Dog' is trying to find it's way back in again so I have been fighting that aswell the general low's in life, especially the ones at the moment from not being at work cos of my ankle and such.

Natasha is just my little ray of sunshine and I think I would have given up a long time ago if it wasn't for her. Sometimes she's the only reason I get up in the mornings.

She is growing up so quickly, she turned 5 in July this year, that means she's going to BIG school next year! Been getting uniforms on layby and she says to me 'Mum, why can't I wear my normal clothes to big school? I wear them to school now.' She's so cute. She'll be going to the same school as my little brother and sister, so she's excited about that.

Anyway, I think I just needed to write for abit and get some things out. Having a nice relaxing weekend, well trying to. It gets so boring when Tash isn't here. It's her fathers weekend so she's gone til tomorrow night. So I'm guna go have a coffee and read I think. Hope you all have a great weekend.
