In any case it looks strange when a regular suddenly accepts 8 or more gifts or compliments at once....makes alarm bells ring. I personally accept a gift as soon as I see it, no matter how busy I am, because I figure it is only the decent thing to do, if a person has gone out of their way to show their appreciation...

But I guess that is just me

As Izzy says some members haven't logged in for a rather long time and have accumulated gifts during this time, when they log in they accept them all; hence it looks spammed. I try to give compliments to as many new members as possible as this encourages them to participate and lets them know their input is appreciated. I also give out presents and compliments to any member I see who needs a cheer-up, a congratulations, has done some nice deed, has given excellent advice ect It's always nice to be rewarded for your good work

there are several reasons for this 1: the member has not been on for a long time and have accumulated gifts/compliments and they accept them all when the finally log on, 2: the member doesn't have time to accept them when they come, so once they do find the time they accept them all at once, 3: the person is so well loved, they get numerous compliments/gifts on a daily basis.

Well, I'm jealous! I wished they'd spared me a princess royal!!!!! It is annoying, but obviously some ppl have time on their hands then sense!

My guess is they're some how giving it to themselves, to make themselves look popular. I have at times given a number of compliments that I feel appropiate to a person but that is ridiculous!
