I have been married to my husband, Ed for 12 years and we have 1 child, Liam who was born in July 2005. He was an unplanned pregnancy but we decided to go ahead with it, despite the fact that I suffer from very severe depression and other anxiety related illnesses.

Liam is a delightfully happy child who is always smiling and laughing, but who absolutely refuses to sleep. He also suffers from life threatening allergies to dairy, egg, nuts, shell fish and sesame. We don't know where the allergies came from as no-one else in the family suffers from them. It has been a huge adjustment in our lives but we wouldn't swap him for anything.

We also have a 10 year old moggy (silver grey tabby cat) called Buster who is Liam's best friend or worst enemy as the mood takes him.

I spend my spare time (what's that?) cross stitching (I love animals and fairies) and reading (fantasy, horror, historical fiction).
