Thanx! I like that Emily's hair has stayed curly. I wasn't sure at first, but it seems to be the real deal (and not just those baby curls) for now. Sometimes I have to hold myself back from grabbing one and going, boooiiing!

Ha! I wish I could make a cake like that! It's actually a bunch of cupcakes, so I can only imagine what a chore it must be to put the frosting on!

Awwww, thank you. Emily says thank you! We're working on that, actually. Both of them get comments from people sometimes about being pretty or handsome (nice people just like to say that to kids, I think) and I'm trying to get them to be better about saying thanx instead of just standing there shuffling their feet. As obnoxious as they are at home, they actually go kinda shy elsewhere!

I'll say Thiago's into the karaoke! I filmed him singing too (still have to get that YouTube account!) and it was so funny, cuz he didn't know, and at the very end he puts his microphone down and tells me, "Take a picture, Mom!" all annoyed.

Thanx for taking a look! She's certainly happy to be 6 now! And Thiago, in the spirit of a younger sibling wanting to catch up, has been telling me for awhile he's going to be 5 soon. I've stopped trying to explain that he has to get through 4 first, and he should really just enjoy being 3 right now!

Thanx! That cake was kinda cool, actually. We discovered it at the local major grocery chain. Emily had been saying she wanted cupcakes for a while, and it turned out they had a cake made of a bunch of cupcakes put together so we got that one! Whew!

They do like the karaoke! And luckily they could agree on what to sing, so I didn't have to deal with the microphones being used to bop each other on the head!

Uh, oops! It got cut off last fall, actually, and she was okay with it, but the rest of us decided it would be better left longer! I do like that it got some layers though. Before that fall haircut it was just kind of an overly long, shaggy mess. I'll try to avoid causing her hair issues though!

hehehehe curly hair tends to cause some issues.  There's only one word needed for curly hair really - CONDITIONER lol lol lol

AMEN to that! It's been trial and error here, as I do not have curly hair myself(!), but I HAVE figured out that conditioner is a necessity! Still, it's so humid here that sometimes nothing can be done for it. As is evidenced in her lion's mane pic.

Earplugs! Good idea!  At least until they've gotten some more practice.
