Gotta get this shorter, so here goes: I'm Sarah, mom of three, two boys and one girl, and life is always an adventure with them. My oldest, Juan, is actually my stepson, but he lives with me and his dad full time, and has for eight years now, so he's like a son and he calls me Mom. My daughter, Emily, is five. She's little Miss Bossy. She keeps the rest of us in line! My youngest, Thiago (pronounced tea-ah-go) is three, and he's my little talker. Sometimes I think he has a better vocabulary than the other two put together!

Before I got married and started the family life I was a big traveller. I lived in Japan for about four years, teaching English over there, and that's where I met my husband. He is Brazilian. After we were married we moved to Brazil for awhile, but it was hard to find decent jobs so we moved back to the States instead.

I'm also a writer and I have one published book so far, Root of Evil. I'm working on a second, but with three kids it's a bit hard to find time to write much more than blogs! A book requires a teensy bit more focus to get it done. At least for me it does. For now, my main focus is being a mom, and I do enjoy it. I think it's a job that requires a lot of dedication and creativity–at least, if you want to try and do it well.
