Well another busy two weeks gone by soooo fast!! Things will start to settle down around here and we can enjoy our christmas festivities together..Beau has had his yr6 farewell and graduation ceremonies, i was so proud yet a little sad that he is growing up so fast, he will head off to highschool next year which still seems a little surreal...
Beau received a end of year award for Outstanding Creative Ability and Tanieka one for Academic Excellence both were super excited as only 5 from each class got an award..
Shinaai has shone beautifully again this year and recieved multiple awards including 1st place in English out of the whole of year 8!! Geez she is a super sensible kid and sets goals to which she gives herself 12 months to achieve..The top 10 from each year go to the University for a special Ceremony in reconigtion of their outstanding work she has achieved this again this year and now has set her goal for the trifecta next year! Little Dallas has completed Kindy and cant wait to go to yr 1 and do real school work like his older siblings..lol..(his words not mine)
An overall very rewarding year academically!

Now things have settled im hoping to spend a little more time here on minti and catching up with some of my new friends
catch ya all soon

One Full on week!

Ok dont quite no where to start but boy do i need to vent! Last weekend it started with a Parents nite at my kids youth ( Youth Street) my daughter has a different biological father and it was the first time he has attended any thing she has done, although i was happy for her, secretly i just wanted to poke his eyes out..lol... ok a little dramatic but hey just how i was feeling at the time, she is so precious and i am in a way a little jealous, and annoyed that he can decide to play supportive dad after 14 years! But i pushed my own emotions down deep and soldiered on after all the night was about her not him!
Sunday we headed out to a xmas party at the lake (Pelican) it was freezing, no swimmimg just hanging about waiting for santa to come and get out of there though the kids had a blast, left there raced home to get ready for a wedding we had been invited to from a couple from the youth group my kids attend, very very beautiful event though felt a little out of place as all the guest were christians (nothing wrong with that) and we just seemed a little odd ...
Then back to work for the week, get friday off , go up to the kids school to sort out a bullying issue with my kindy kid (getting picked on by a year 5 kid!!) then my older sons teacher asks to see me and hands me a letter that she was about to send home, mr 12 has an attitude!!!! arrrgghh i see red, nearly blew a head gasket, what is he thinking???? settle down enough to talk to him in the arvo, realise is not as bad as first thought but still not acceptable...
Final event of the week and head off to Taniekas dance presentation and disco great nite till the end, she got her trophy and boogied the nite away get home and hubby decides he is going to have a meltdown!!! grrrrrrrr who knows what it was all about but couldnt be bothered with the crap last nite so just went to bed...heehee ....Today though we will be sitting down when the kids are out to figure out what? is goin on in his head....

Well enough of my ramblings but i really do feel better for it..
