when i was in high school one of our vce books wa "dibs in search of self" it was about a little boy who had autism.

that book opened up my eyes to autism.  there are different levels of it too.

autism children can be very bright and have special talents  but are certainly isolated

That's great!!! I bet she worked extra hard to acheive her award - my eldest is autistic and I know how difficult it can be for them sometimes.

Well done Drew!! woohoo!! I've always found autistic children to have special talents and interests I'm glad that the teachers see this too and that she is making plenty of friends. How wonderful!
