A stableford point?

I only know the different 'bird' par references from TV. Birdie, Eagle, etc.

its a form of handicap scoring. So an amatuer (like me) can play a Pro (like tiger woods) and have a chance of beating him on handicap.

Note: Even with the most amazing handicap... I would still not come close to Tiger Woods! ;)
