hey all, for all you aussies, how you handling the heat? It's drivin me crazy. Come on gaia ( mother nature) give us a break! We can only take 40+ temps for so long.It is 30c in my house even with the air con.

I have been back 2 work for  2 days now, had today off cause it is soooo hot. Had to play indoor hockey last night and it nearly killed me.

Kids are all grumpy cause i wont let them go to the pool. Even with sunscreen they will get burnt.

Went up the street early in the morning, to beat the heat and my youngest  daughter (11yr old) jamed her finger in the car door. a few minutes later she faintly. Lucky we were close to the chemist and we got help. scared the livin out of me, even with first aid training, it freaked me out. 

Now she is playing on it, gettin her silly mum to do everythin for her. 

Gotta go my silly dog is having pups now.

Well seems as though i cannot get 'me and my family' to save anything i write, thought i would write it here.

I am a 35yr old mother of 3, a 16yr old daughter, a 14yr old son and an 11yr old daughter. I have been with their dad for 17yrs. We havn't married, cause we don't believe in it (hope i don't affend anybody).

We live in a small country town, bout 3hrs from melbourne. We have 2 pure breed bull terries. Our female is 5yrs old and her daddy's girl. our male is 2 yrs old and is my elderst dog. we have 2 cats , a grey and a ginger and white, this one we adopted from the vets.2 budgies and three gold fish.

Both my partner and i work full time, myself I work at the local biscuit factory and I get all the summer holidays with them and one week at easter. Their dad on the other hand works at the local high school and gets 3 1/2 weeks of the summer holidays with them and one week of all the other school holidays during the year.

hi, I'm home from the family reunion and boy am i surrering ( not froma hangover as i don't drink) but from  a mixture of sunburn and windburn.  The sun was hot, but the wind was very very cold. Everybody realised a bit late, mmm say 7 hours to late, that we should've put on sunscreen.

I am not going anywhere that involves stepping out of my front door as my face is as red a tomato and very swollen round the eyes.

All in all we had a very good day, seeing cousins and aunts, uncles that we hadn't seen in ages. Meeting some who we didn't know, but knew you.

Kids bleed me dry of all my money, cause the reunion was held at a highland gathering - that is on every year. All i seemed to do is hand out the money. MUM can i have... MUM i need to.... MUM can i go on this ride.

I am supposed to be getting ready to go to my dads for new year and a family reunion.., but instead i'm on mini typing away. so the question remains 'WHY IS MINTI SO ADDICTIVE?. I'm hooked and by the time my holidays finish (jan 27th ) I will probably be having withdrawals( not the way to spell it i don't think.).

well gotta go............ having a hard time turning the computer off.... ....going now i mean it.
