Married to a great man who is a wonderful father and spouse. He is the stay at home guy who works one 24 shift and then off for 3 days so he is the stay at home person while I am at the office 5d/wk.
We live in a great neighbourhood about a 3 minute walk from our primary/elementary school. The kids have lots of friends around and on the street. They are busy with school, sports and friends. I am here to make their life interesting and exciting and show them right from wrong and help them when I can.
My 10 yr old put the name termenator on me because I told him once that I was not here to be his friend because they will come an go in his life but I was his one and only mom. I was his mentor...he replied I was his termenator..I told him I was OK with that title and it has stuck. But rest assured he and his can talk to me about anything and know that I will not judge them for their questions or get upset by what they have done but if it is wrong they know they will catch flack for it!
I am having a great time with them. This is the year that all kinds of interesting questions are coming up. Everything from our dog going into cycle and that leading to asking about cycles and girls and moms? To questions about sex and TV and women and how society views women. My husband explained he is glad I am the way I am.. very succint and to the point...I don't give too much info just enough to satify their questions. If they want more...they'll ask.
