I was already sad today, then I read some advice articles on here and they made me cry more! What some people have been through in their lives is just awful!

My best friend, her hubby & their daughter (Jack's best friend) came today to say goodbye. Her hubby stopped for a little bit then went off to join one of his dogs with another blokes dog. We had a great time, the kids playing and us chatting - just trying not to think about when she was going to leave. She is moving 7 hours from here on Saturday & I may only see her 2 or 3 times a year. We have only known each other for 2 years, when they came here for her hubby to work on the property we live on. 11 months ago they moved on to another property 1 1/2 hours from here but we could still visit easily & catch up when we did the shopping as we went to the same town to shop. Then they moved again but it was the same distance & we still caught up at least every 4 weeks. Now we are not going to be able to just ring each other and say "hey, I'm going shopping on Friday want to meet up?". We clicked from the minute I knocked on her door to introduce myself to the new person on the farm, she came to the door & we just knew we would be great friends - I was there for 4 hours that day & later we all met up for tea. I have never met someone so much like me in every way, and I am going to miss having her close by so much! Thank god for the internet as we will be able to see each other with webcams, and we will be on here everday talking, but I will miss seeing her in person. I am not sure how the kids will handle it, I think Jack is too young to understand but it will be hard next time he asks to see her and I can't ring and say lets catch up.

Jack has had tonisilitis again this week, 3 times in 4 months, and his temperature has been nearly impossible to keep down. I am demanding a referal to an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist if he gets it again - there has to be some reason behind it. I don't want them taken out if possible - I don't think I could handle them taking him into an operating theatre. The doctor said they don't generally take them out until they are 4-5 anyway.

I thought Oscar was getting School Sores as a baby at playgroup last week had what her mother said was cold sores & I found out later they were school sores - Oscar was playing with the same toys as her all morning! She didn't bother to tell me, or ring the school to tell them so one of the other ladies on the farm did - that started a huge fight! I was going to ring the school myself but she did it. They needed to know, the toys need to be disinfected & people need to know to keep an eye on their kids. Anyway, I don't think Oscar has them as the little pimpley thinks on his cheek seem to be better today - there was 3 together and one has gone. Here's hoping!

Well I must go, Jack is awake and not very happy. I hope everyone is happy and enjoying the sunshine!

Well, the weather has been pretty much perfect the last 3 days! The boys have really enjoyed being able to play outside for a change. Jack is off riding the motorbike with James at the moment - I wish I could go for a ride myself but I can't reach the ground on the new bike & I don't particularly like the old one! Can't wait to get MY bike! hehe - the James will be home with the boys while I'm off riding!

My best friend rang this week & told me they are moving - 7 hours away! They already moved 1 1/2 hours away last year - no fair! I caught up with her in town Thursday for the day along with my sister. I took my sis to the doc for her first pap smear, she was so scared! While we were there she got the first of her cervical cancer vaccines & a flu vaccine aswell & a script for the pill. Got her all set now, I won't have to worry so much! lol!

Went out for tea with my bf & her hubby and daughter Friday night for Chinese (only had to drive half an hour to get there lol) which was great - they are moving next weekend. She is coming over Thursday to spend the day with me & the boys, her daughter and Jack are best friends too but he doesn't understand what is happening - wait until he asks to see her and he can't, that's when it will hit him! There is going to be tears everywhere on Thursday, not looking forward to saying goodbye.

Got a roast chook on for tea, YUMMY! Suppose I better go get the vegies ready to go. Hope everyone had an awesome weekend!

Hi all! Well we had a great weekend, not much sleep but it was nice to go and do something! hehe! The kids really enjoyed it as they get so much attention from everyone! The party was really good - it was dress up as your dream if you want to, we didn't though - there were even chocolate fountains! I couldn't stay away from the strawberries & licorice dipped in! lol! I felt a bit sick on Friday night & then again at lunch time on Saturday but I had a lay down & I was ok. Mum got crook with the runs later in the day but she still managed to come to the party & drink some cans!

James was in a hurry to get home Sunday (as usual) so we left after lunch. We dropped into the supermarket on our way & used one of our new shopping trolley covers - Oscar loved it & spent the whole time looking at the patterns on it, yahoo, no crying!!! Then we stopped off at my uncle's house to say hi, he and James were friends before we met so it's nice to catch up (it was his oldest daughters 21st we went to).

Jack held off doing a poo all weekend as we were trying to get him to do it in the toilet (most of you know we have trouble getting him to do that, and he is otherwise fully toilet trained, day & night!), when we got home he was kneeling down on the back verandah & I asked him if he needed to go. He said "yes" and had already started so I ran him to the loo, sat him on his seat & he went! I clapped and cheered & he said "no mum, one more!" and he went again! YAY! Almost got him to go in the toilet again yesterday too, but he left it too late and as our toilet is outside in the laudry it was too late when we got there, but at least he tried! I would try the potty inside but he doesn't like it!

I am taking my little sis (she's 18) to the doc on Thursday to have her first pap smear & get contraception - she's nervous but I'm glad she has asked me! I can't believe she's all grown up, living in a flat, has a boyfriend & a job! It all goes too fast! I hope it goes well, I've booked her in with a female doctor so she's more comfortable & I'll be just outside for her. Wow, if only I'd had a big sis to come with me the first time! lol!

Well, better get some housework done, catch you all later.

Wow, it's been a while since my last blog entry - sorry! I'm excited today - I got my first lot of products for my new business! I can't wait to go and wash my hair & face with all my new stuff! When I used the samples of the shampoo & conditioner I couldn't believe it - my hair has never looked and felt so nice! Now I'm gonna look glam all the time, lol!

The boys are really good, growing up quickly! Jack has been biting Oscar on the fingers lately - I put a stop to that pretty quick. I don't think he means to hurt him, he's just experimenting with how far he can go I think. Oscar cracks up when Jack swings his arms around near him & taps him so I guess Jack just thinks it's all funny. I have been trying to explain to him that he has to be very careful because Oscar is small & he might hurt him. He understands but he's a boy! lol! Oscar is sitting up by himself very confidently now but he doesn't roll over as much anymore, I think he's realised that he ends up on his tummy when he does & he hates that! Jack is just full of talk, I can sit down with him & have an actual conversation with him about things, it really amazes me! The other boys his age at playgroup hardly ever speak!

We are going away for the weekend tomorrow when James gets home from work so I have to have the car packed ready to go. It's my cousins 21st Saturday night so we are going to stay with mum & Mick for the weekend. It's only just over an hours drive but we don't want to get there too late. Will be nice to spend the time with them, and it's relaxing beacause it's not my house! lol! Mum & Mick adore the boys & will have Jack at least outside most of the time so I will get a bit of a break. Will be great to see all the family at the party too, even though we saw most of them a few weeks ago at my uncle's 50th.

It's raining and windy & cold here now, thank goodness I got most of the washing dry this morning in the wind before the rain came. Now we won't have to rush home Sunday to try and get James' work clothes washed & dry before Monday moning! I'm thinking about taking the pup with us as she gets fed twice a day, James will probably think she'll be ok but I would feel better if we did. I don't know though because mum & Mick have a cat & Jack Russells & cats don't really mix! She's getting so big now, I worked out yesterday that she's just over 11 weeks old - needles next week then! Not much fun! I don't know how I am going to manage to get her into town and home without her destroying my leather seats as it's half an hours drive each way! I might have to put her in a box in the back of the wagon - I don't think she'll like that much!

Well I better go and organise something for tea. If I don't get to talk to any of you before I go away I luv you all & will talk to you next week!

This is the first attempt at this but I am very happy with it! Hope you all like it too!

Wow, what a weekend! It was great fun - mum & stepdad were here from Wednesday arvo until Sunday arvo - went to my uncles house Friday night as we had to act normal so he wouldn't catch on to his surprise 50th Saturday night. Got home about 10.30pm and Jack wouldn't go to his bed so had to hop in with me. When James got home he put him in his own bed. Oscar was up at 1.30am & 5.30am - grrrrr, then Jack up at 7am. Then Saturday we had my grandparents & my uncle (Oscar's god father - he is 4 months younger than me so we grew up like twins) coming for lunch & to hide unril the party! Jack had a ball playing with his great uncle & the men all went into the pub for a while a bit laer when we knew uncle John had gone to footy. We went intothe pub later so we were there in plenty of time for the party - so many people there it was like a family reunion! Great fun though, the food was great & uncle John was so surprised! His birthday ws actually on the 16th July but he was away on holidays & thought he wasn't getting one! hehe! Then we had a bbq lunch at his house the next day - he even caught the bbq on fire, but all was ok.

The kids were so tired yesterday arvo - not to mention me! I have been spending a lot of time working on my home business (when the boys let me) and it is really going well. I have afew people interested & am getting the products out there for people to try.

Better get something done, hope everyone had a good weekend!

Well, I am so busy at the moment as I have started a home business - finally! I am hoping to do well out of it but if the only thing I get out of it is cheap products I'll be happy! The products are fantastic - skincare, baby products, haircare, makeup & weightloss & vitamin suppliments. I can sell the products if I like but I am going to focus on giving samples to people & if they are interested I will sign them up so they get my discount too! I am also thinking of making up gift baskets for new mums & bubs and selling them, hopefully they will go well!

My mum & stepdad are here for 4 days at the moment so I am getting a bit of a break from the kids which is nice. They are still in the house but I am getting some me time while mum & Mick play with them! To make things even better they are thinking about signing up to the company I have just joined too - a great start for me!

Jack is refusing to have his afternoon nap while they are here  though & he can get quite sooky & cranky without it! Grrrr!
