Moucho tired today...but still find time for MINTI!

Good-day ev1.  We had a "wake-up and boob-snack every 2 hours or so" night last night so It's been a lazy day today.  After 3 nights of sleeping through...last night was a little hard to deal with.  Guess I got spoiled a little...LOL.  Funny how I can still make time for minti though, when I can't seem to do anything else constructive right now.

Good morning...

Looks like it's going to be a nice day today, hopefully not crazy hot cause I want to take babes swimming today.  I think she misses it.  We took  Waterbabies swim classes at the local rec center all winter and we haven't been since June.

We also took "Baby and Me" water aerobics which I highly recondmend if anyone has that option around.  All the babies just float around in "baby rings" while you work out.  Most of them just fall asleep because it's so relaxing.  The only thing is that the optimal time for this is between 4-10 months because after about 10 months the babies just want to crawl out of the rings.

So I've been trying to be more "domestic" (if that's the word) ever since I've been off work and yesterday I attempted to bake some Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.  First two batches went for "crap" but I think I got the hang of it for the last two and they turned out pretty good.  Working full-time 6 days a week for the last 10 years....I thought mabey I wouldn't be able to handle this "housewife" stuff but it's going pretty good so far.

Anyhow.........Just wanted to say Good Day Everyone!

I came across a funny ad the other day and I just remembered it as I was trying to clean the cookie bits out of Hayden's jumparoo.  It was a wanted ad for a "used Jumparoo with no food bits stuck in the creases"  All I can say is "Good Luck" on that one!

Stuck inside from 10 till 2?

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like prisoners from 10am till 2pm?  My doctor told me to keep Hayden out of the sun and extreme heat at those times of the day even if I'm keeping her in the shade.  I know I can go and do indoor things where there's air conditioning but I love and miss just being outside and walking around in the afternoon.  I've taken Hayden out on some days that are not soooo swealtering hot and she still seems to get overheated and uncomfortable in such a short time that I feel bad and don't take her out much anywhere anymore except for the front porch.  Why does the sun have to be so "evil"?!  Anyway, I'm just whining and want to know if there's anyone else out there that feels the same way?

Ok, so I have no idea about blogging but here it goes

Hi everyone,  I'm new here today.  I found this site off an MSN link last night and spent a few hours checking out the great advice!  Just found time to join this morning while Hayden has her first nap of the day.  It's really funny cause we've been having huge sleeping issues lately and as I was setting up my account she woke up (the dreaded 30 minute nap) and started talking to herself in the crib.  Normally I would go to get her right away but I figured I would try to finish what I was doing and just wait for her to start crying first.  Well guess what ...the little monkey fell back asleep after 10 minutes...like that NEVER happens!  Mabey this site is good luck!
