For about 8 months now I've been keeping a blog with a blogspot domain. I liked it, and I kept it pretty current. It was my little place to talk about anything I wanted, whether that be my hobbies, writing, or family. It was pretty enjoyable and while I had a decent amount of freedom with the layout and ad control, it had its limitations. There were only so many layouts I could choose and only so much exposure I could get with blogspot in my domain name. So a week or two ago I decided that I was ready to move up to my own domain. I tossed around a couple names, bought one I didn't really like, then finally settled on one so simple and obvious that I don't know why I didn't think about it in the first place.
I wanted to keep the same premise in mind when designing my new website. I didn't want to be limited to one niche while writing. If I was limited in the topics available to write on, I knew I'd abandon it all too soon and it would become a waste of my money. So I worked a couple days, got everything set up, and voila... my site is now up and running with a few posts, pictures, and other information.
I enjoy having my own site, and I hope people will visit. Afterall, I am sharing it all with the world. If you don't learn or gain anything from reading it, I at least hope you can sympathize with my life, or even get a little laugh.
So drop by, read a post or page, leave a comment, or just peruse it before you exit out. I would really appreciate it!
