Well it's been raining a lot yesterday and today but today we got out. we were all going a bit stir crazy. we went to a children's climbing place and found that the prices were raised, it was extra for a project thing they have going on, and no more fountain drinks now it's individual drinks.  it was quite expensive.  I don't think we'll be back. Still the girls had fun with their friends and after that we went to get ice cream. Both of them took a good nap. My 3 yr old woke up and said she wanted to make a cake.  They love pineapple so I talked her into a pineapple upside down cake. Actually, I do 2 batches, one with the eggs and the other for the girls without the eggs. They take turns mixing theirs with their small mixer then my 3 yr old tastes it. Then I mix all of it together for the final cake mix. it's baking now, wish us luck.

we were out of town this weekend.  we went to a nephew's high school graduation. It is really exciting to see my girls' aunt pass that milestone with her family. In contrast we are just getting started with our little girls...of course we started to think that we need to increase our school funds for them, we need to keep on with our goals so that they can have more, aaah, too much thinking...

Also, this weekend our girls got a chance to play with 3 other cousins that are about their age and are also girls. My little one, whom is the youngest of them all, insisted on keeping up with them and did a pretty good job of it. She is amazing.  Her favorite lines now are "me too" and "pssst" to get anyone's attention...

We had a very nice weekend, but as my 3 year old says, "now where are we going mama?".

I just chose my picture and I chose that one because 1)I have always wanted to be an FBI agent and 2)I love all the csi, detective shows 3)now that I am a SAHM it is sort of like being an FBI agent, you know with the guessing game when they don't know how to talk, then the guessing game when they think they know how to talk...

Recently I was asked to do a biography of myself and here it is:

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom I was a Network Administrator. I worked a lot of nights then got back on the road at 6:30 am to be in the office by 8 am. I dealt with pc tantrums (blue screens), locating lost files from back-up, a lot of multi-tasking, and user complaints like why I gave more file permissions to so-and-so or why so-and-so has a better computer. I liked to stick to schedules until the file or e-mail server decided to crash…YES, my position totally prepared me for motherhood!  I look forward to using this experience along with my organizational skills in this challenging role for the group.

 Supporting me in my decision to fill this office is my wonderful and very patient husband of 8 years, Robert, and our 2 daughters, Alessandra and Karina, for whom I do what I do.

I am a SAHM for 2 great toddlers. One is 3 and the other is 22 months. They are full of surprises.  Daddy is out of town today and will be back tomorrow. Hopefully I can journalize things happening in our lives and make new friends here.
