I have been together with my husband for 15 years, 6 of those years married. We have a 4 1/2 year old daughter who is exceptionally large for her age. At last check, last week - December 15th 2006, she was 20kg and 116cm. I am 32 years old and live in Adelaide, South Australia, which I have done my whole life. We have 2 staffy dogs, who are more like kids than dogs. Unfortunately, I had major complications after the birth of our daughter, which I have written about titled "Unfortunately It Happened to Me After Childbirth". Please have a read, as I hope the information that I wrote will help others out there, who may have experienced or are currently experiencing the same problems I did before birth, AND especially after the birth. Make sure you see your Drs or OB/GYN's before it is too late. Like it was for me. Even though I complained of all this to them, but was basically told that I was being "paranoid" and everything I was experiencing was apparently "normal". What a crock that was!! Anyway, I love to give advise, have coffee with friends, read, and do puzzles. I am a stay at home mum, but even this can be a bit hard and challenging for me. My husband, family and my best friend, were my shoulders to cry on, when I needed support and help after our daughter was born, and they all mean the world to me. I have received the following education and qualifications:
- Certificate in Web Design
- Diplome in Information Systems
- Bachelor of Business (Management Information Systems) with a Major in Information Systems and a Minor in Criminal Justice
- Certification of Microsoft Word 97 MOUS - Proficient
- Certification from Brainbench for: Written English Professional; MS Windows 98 Navigation; MS Windows 95 Navigation; MS Outlook Express Fundamentals; MS Word 97; MS Excel Fundamentals; Master Computer Fundamentals (Win 95/98)
- I am 1/2 way through my Masters of Management Information Systems;
- I am 1/4 way through a Certificate in Child Psychology.
I have had to put my University studies on hold, as it is far to much for me at the moment. But, apart from that, I look forward to making new friends here at Minti and sharing, discussing, writing, laughing and learning from peoples experiences. |
