My Princess is growing up.....

Comment Published at 16:0816:086 comments6 comments108 Visits108 VisitsReport
Oh my...my almost 19 months princess is so wanting to be a big girl. She doesn't like to be on the pram anymore. She wants just walk, walk and walk. Also she doesn't really want us to feed her anymore. She wants to do it herself.

This morning, we let her eat her fruitbix by herself. She's pretty good actually.

Oh oh....all my kids are growing. My prince will be full time at pre-primary next year. More times for me to do things, and/or spend more qualities times with my princess.

Times fly.

Your princess is growing up...

Time really does fly doesn't it... I am lucky Francis hates to be put in the pram but once it gets moving he is ok with it....   I am a little worried about that when we get to Australia, but my mum says I don't have to worry she is going to stick to him like glue.. LOL

They want to do every thing themselves you should see Francis eat Yogurt.. LOL Messy.... Sometimes he will let me feed him the yogurt, but really does prefer to do it himself...

Oh well we can't keep them young for ever.. :)

Watch them change
Once they start kindy and school you will see changes in their behavior as they learn form others. You may start to think  "I didn't teach him that" It is good watching the different facial expressions develop as well. Not all the things they learn from others are good unfortunately.

Lots from other that our kids could copy. Both good and bad. I always said to my son, for  bad behaviour from other, it didn't mean a good thing to copy if other did a bad thing. I know that he's learning, but I just hope by explaining which are good and bad, he could choose too.

My Princess is growing up.....

Isn't it such a big change, when they wake up one day and decide to do everything themselves?

I'm still struggling with Matthew's independence. I can't get him to eat anymore. If he doesn't recognize what I'm giving him, or if he doesn't like what the food looks like, he refuses to even try it. ARGH!

My Princess is growing up.....
People said it's a boy and girl thing. They said, girls are more independent than boys. But then, I hope Matthew is just going through some phases. I believe at this age, they still find their own way. They could be like this for while and could change in other time. I also think my daughter like this because she has someone to copy (who is her brother). So, her development gets a little booster.

Again, I suppose you knew and aware. Each kids are different. So, just take it easy. I'm sure Matthew has some his own speciality that other kids might not have.
