My Princess is growing up.....

by wildroseComment Published at 16:0816:086 comments6 comments125 Visits125 VisitsReport
Oh my...my almost 19 months princess is so wanting to be a big girl. She doesn't like to be on the pram anymore. She wants just walk, walk and walk. Also she doesn't really want us to feed her anymore. She wants to do it herself.

This morning, we let her eat her fruitbix by herself. She's pretty good actually.

Oh oh....all my kids are growing. My prince will be full time at pre-primary next year. More times for me to do things, and/or spend more qualities times with my princess.

Times fly.

Tonight menu: Creamy tuna pasta

by wildroseComment Published at 03:4403:443 comments3 comments685 Visits685 VisitsReport
If you read my earlier blog, I woke up at 5am. I didn't have any nap, but luckily hubby gave me sleep in for about 45 minutes this morning from 6.30am to 7.15am. Recharged my battery a bit.

My son went to full day kindy today. So, I only stayed with my daughter. She had morning nap, but I didn't fee like to take a nap. Instead I did some houseworks. After lunch, my daughter and I had a little play, then we went out to do some stuff for my son b'day party this weekend. Somehow, my daughter was into walking now. She walked so much, I didn't use pram at all today. Just let her walk.

After school hour finish, I picked up my son. Then we had bubble tea. I was having coconut rainbow, while he had honeycomb flavor, and we had shared sushi just for afternoon snack. After that, we played playdough at the courtyard.

I was so tired, but I still have energy to make a dinner. Hubby said, if I was tired he would buy take away. But I insisted that I would cook. So I did. Just a simple one, but my creamy tuna pasta was favorite tonight. Everybody plates were empty when we finished. That really made my day!

It's 5AM!!!

by wildroseComment Published at 13:5513:556 comments6 comments100 Visits100 VisitsReport
Can't believe the kids woke up at 5am. One asked me to rub his legs and his tummy cause they sored. One found out I did that, she wanted me to do to her as well. Where's hubby??? sleep on the other side.

At 5.15am, I decided to give my girl her bottle, cause there's no way she would go back to sleep. Her brother straight away asked for breakfast....oh well, just couldn't hear them nagging, so I got up from bed and gave what I need to give to them. A nice warm bottle for princess and a bowl of warm fruit weet bix to my prince. While they were enjoying their 'Early' breakfast, I got on to Minti. Snooping around to see what was going on in Minti world.

At. 5.30am, we back to bed, thought we might have a little sleep till around 6am. Was I lucky?? Not really. We back to bed probably 10 minutes, when the prince and princess start making silly noisy. Oh well....I got up again. I suppose I better. My prince goes to morning kindy today, I better prepare some stuff for him to take for his kindy lunch. But before that, since it's still 5.50am, I hop on computer again, check some stuff on the world web.. Nothing much....

Anyway, I will plan some nap later today...whenever my princess has one.

For Minti's moms and dads out there....have a good day!!

Creamy chicken pie

by wildroseComment Published at 15:5015:507 comments7 comments222 Visits222 VisitsReport
What a busy day I've got yesterday. We had my friend and her 2 children came for a visit. The kids had a good fun played together. I had to take my daughter for a shot and she did very well.

For all the activities we did all day,  I thought I'd cook creamy chicken pie. With all the vegies (Glad that the kids ate all the vegies on their plate) and chicken and tasty white creamy sauce will boost everybody energy, specially me who seem getting flu *sniff sniff*. So, we did have creamy chicken pie for dinner, even though the absent of my hubby a little bit as missing ingredients for the family dinner. He had to work long hours yesterday. But to let the kids still seeing their loving father before went to bed, I decided to pack up some dinner and snacks for my hubby. So, after dinner we went to his work and dropped the dinner full of love with the kiddies saying good night to their dad.
Oh yes....those efforts worked excellent for everybody. Apart the kids and myself had chance to see the man we love and he got the home cooking dinner, the kids were straight to bed as soon as we reached home. It gave me time to recharge my energy too.

My little copier

by wildroseComment Published at 00:0500:056 comments6 comments98 Visits98 VisitsReport
My girl is 18 months plus now. She such a smarty pants. She starts to copy lots of word that we said. Yesterday was the first day, she played tea party with her dollies. Soooo cute to watch she played. I came up with the idea and she just clicked straight away.

Ohhhoooo...times fly so quick. Soon she'll be at playgroup. Probably would chat lots more.

Regarding potty training. She's getting so much better, probably the weather become added value as well. It's getting so hot here, she demands to wear underpants instead of nappy. And she's pretty good to ask to go to potty before she wet herself. I'm looking forward to stop buying nappy.

Smelly lawn

by wildroseComment Published at 21:0421:040 comments0 comments97 Visits97 VisitsReport
Oh my god, my lawn is sooooo smelly. I just had my lawn care guy put a top dressing (a mixture of fertilizer, soil, etc) on my lawn and fixed my sprinklers to be ready for summer. I had to close down all my windows in hope that the smells won't spread out into the house. I've sprayed some air neautralize oddour thing, hope would help.

Happy Days

by wildroseComment Published at 17:3917:392 comments2 comments76 Visits76 VisitsReport
Few weeks ago, I was feeling a little bit blue. I think my wheel was on the bottom, but it get up and up everyday. My husband and my kids have been very nice to me. We went to new place we never been to, we spent most of the times together to make up the times that were lost in this busy world. The in-laws also been pretty helpful of letting their time to look after the kids one night, while hubby and I had mummy's and daddy's time. We went out to have dinner with an old friend.

Past few days were really make me feel a human again. Feel the loves around me. With those, make me want to do more for my love ones.....(I've started with happy feeling even my daughter woke up at 5.20am this morning, then I've given her a hair cut, washed the car, clean the house, now doing the laundry while the kids are having quiet time after busy morning helping mummy washed the car, also keep my insanity with Minti).

Wish all of you out there will have a good day too. If not, just keep your chin up and think that your happy day will come soon.

Moving on

by wildroseComment Published at 22:1822:182 comments2 comments97 Visits97 VisitsReport
Times fly so quickly. Is the world getting old or just lots of thing happening in this world? When you were little kid, we probably only thought about plays and school and birthday parties and presents. Getting older life pretty a bit more complex. Marriage life is also complex but if you could find your way in it, you'd go though it very smoothly and find the happiness that you couldn't describe in words.

Tomorrow will be my 31 years living in this crazy but also beautiful world. The past 5 years I felt like I was finding my fairy tale. Sound unbelievable (I still sometime think 'am I dreaming? is it real? how long would it last), but we've been so lucky in our life or probably just because we took everything with open arms. We always thought every single second we went through, would be a message behind it. We've learned from our past, we've learned to let go some of our ego when the child born, we've learned to have fun again from our children, we've learned to slow down to be safe, we respect others in hope that they would respect us too.

I don't know what would come next. I could only hope it would be worth to live on for the past and the future. It would be another story of our lifes and the memories for our children's children.
